Menstrual Cups,Drain Moon Cups With Openable Lid,Size L For Women Who Have Experienced Natural Childbirth,Set Of Two In Reusable Bag

I switched to using a cup about 2 years ago now and I think they're great and would never change back to tampons, but as I use sterilising solution to keep them clean between months.they always eventually need replacing quite quickly as the solution seems to degrade the silicon.This time my cups needed replacing I thought I would try these. With the end that opens for 'easy' emptying and the storage bag, PLUS the fact that you get two cups, I thought I would try these out.They arrived quickly and they are a quality product in the way that the storage bag is nicely made and it seemed the cups were too... only I think they are a little TOO quality ... I have had seven children and have quite a heavy flow so I bought the ones made for heavy months and when it came time to use them I honestly thought they were going to be good - even though I was dubious, to begin with, that the cap that opens wouldn't leak, when I looked at the cap it seemed like it slotted in quite tightly and I thought "well maybe it won't leak after all".The reason I say the cups are 'TOO quality' is that unfortunately when I used them the silicon was SO thick they actually HURT to wear them. I'm not going to go into WHY they hurt here as its a bit of an intimate description for a review but let's just say they need to be a LOT softer to be more comfortable. They are hard to even squash them to get them in and caused me so much pain after a couple of hours I couldn't stand it anymore and had to remove the cup, not to mention the fact that during the short time I was using it, I leaked completely through my clothing and when I attempted to use the 'easy empty cap' it was a complete waste of time as whoever designed these obviously thinks a womans period is just pure water like liquid that will run through a thin slit... im guessing the designer of these is a guy as us women know a period is much more than liquid and will NOT just run through a tiny slit (trying not to be too gross here but you know what I mean girls)So for me, these are completely useless and very very uncomfortable, I ended up feeling actually bruised inside and it took me a while to even remove it because it hurt so bad.Cups are great and I would recommend them to anyone but not these ones, in future, I will be sticking to the softer silicon cups and no 'easy open caps' as they just don't work. I did keep the bag though, its really nice LOL

it's too big and you can't cut the cup to use without the tail because of the cap. it's leak otherwise. the material used it too flimsy so doesn't for a seal at all. the cap and stem should have been flexible material and not hard as you can feel it when walking about
