What is the Vitamin C in this product derived from if not from corn?

Beware of the troll warning you about "trolls" below, she's projecting. "Corn free" does NOT mean it is not from GMO corn. It CAN mean they use corn (which PS: has ZERO vitamin C at all!) and synthesized it in a lab by adding a bunch of SYNTHETIC toxchems. They put it in a centrifuge and, magically, the final product ends up with "no corn". There is also a "GMO-free" vs. "NO GMO" and IIRC the first one means the same nonsense: start with GMO corn, end up with 0 GMOs? Right and the BT toxin growing in the gut of users who later catch Morgellons from drinking such products called "hypochondria" and "mental illness".

Let me ask you this: if you are a "vegan" (goodness forbid!) or a religious person and this said "Pork-free" but you found out that it was made by growing the vitamin C on pork meat...would you then drink it?? Even if below troll (who protests too much) told you she was (enter whatever religion) or allergic to pork... would her OPINION make a difference to truth?? How about if you knew it were made using human body parts and the below troll told you she was not a cannibal and she still drank it... would you? I rest my case! Please beware of the troll's FAULTY "logic" and do your research.

does the mixture need to be taken right away? my thought is to mix it in a gallon of water and drink it throughout the day.

You do not need to drink it right away.  If fact letting it sit for awhile (about 10-20 mins) helps to get it down.  You will not need to mix it in a gallon of water (that is way too much).  I would start off by mixing 3 tbsp in 1/2  to 1 cup of water.  If a bowel movement is not produced within 1-2 hours repeat and you should achieve bowel tolerance.  Do not drink through out the day or you will never get off the toliet.

Is it normal to have reside that did not dissolve at the bottom? I swirl, stir, swish, and still have crud. What gives?

Hello:That's some of the zinc that hasn't reacted with the ascorbic acid. Stirring the drink while it's bubbling will help.
