Does what it needs to do.
I was fitting felt shingles to a roof - those things are death on a Stanley knife blade, and hard going if you've a lot to do. I bought this more in hope than expectation, but I wasn't disappointed. It cut through the shingles like they weren't there, and one blade lasted the whole job on a 17m2 hipped roof, so quite a lot of cutting for a small roof. I can imagine this will make equally short work of roofing felt, but if you're using shingles, don't even think about doing it without one of these - it's worth buying a cheap multi-tool if you don't already have one.

Mainly used to slice through cardboard packaging. Makes a fiddly job easy!

no better than a fixed blade
it will cut about a metre of carpet then it is too blunt to cut anymore , it will sharpen but that is not easy to do on a curved blade .

Just use a sharp knife
Not met my expectations for cutting flooring so I used a knife and worked better.

A simple knife is working better than this tool for cutting old carpets
Haved used it with Makita DTM52 for cuting old carpets but find a simple knife is working fmuch faster and easier than this special tool.

Tolle Ergänzung fürs Multitool
Auf der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit, Formen aus sehr dicker Kartonage zu schneiden, bin ich bei diesem Aufsatz fürs Bosch-Multitool gelandet und nicht enttäuscht worden. Was mit dem Teppichmesser vermutlich eine halbe Ewigkeit gedauert hätte, ging durch Ziehen mit der Hakenklinge wirklich schnell und auch sehr spitze Winkel ließen sich überraschend gut herausarbeiten. Für Teppiche und sonstige Schneidarbeiten sicher auch geeignet, aber noch nicht getestet.
