This is a very high quality, perfect fit replacement item. This is one of those items that can wreck havoc on a job when clogged, partially clogged. We all forget time to time to clean these out, but even after cleaning paint seems to find it way into the filter area and sit, dry and become hard to the point you have to throw it away, stores are out of the item 9/10. After receiveing this order and checking the fit, I have an item that works perfectly and a few extras in my spares bag if I need to change it out.

These gun filters are low quality. There are bits of plastic debris on them from manufacturing that needs to be cleaned off before use. I don't want my filter to block my spray nozzle because it's introducing junk into my paint. -1 star for filter debris.I'm used to 100 mesh and succeed with it even with heavy elastomeric. I'm painting with this 60 mesh and so far it's OK but no noticeable difference in spray quality. I'm using a large 517 so probably not going to clog. I feel more comfortable with 100 mesh.Taking this out after painting it's pretty obvious there's not enough support plastic. The screen collapses once it gets full of debris. I used an old hose that has a lot of dried paint debris and expected to choke the filter. Not bad performance from it collapsed but still surprising.

These filters can get clogged over time, and over very little time if you don't remove them and clean them. I know a lot of guys who just spray clean water through and call it a day. I like to have a few of these on hand. If you have an airless sprayer, keep some of these handy and plan to spend as much time cleaning the sprayer as you did spraying.

At a cost of $16 for ten filters (at the time I placed my order) these seemed like a good value. Unfortunately (and through no fault of the seller), these don’t fit my Campbell Hausfeld spray gun so I won’t have a chance to use them. That said, the filters have is a lot of plastic molding flash on the inside and outside of the filter that looks likely to flake off which could cause gun clogging issues. And given how messy breaking down the gun mid-project to replace a filter is, I would have probably given these a miss even if they did fit. I deducted one star for the plastic molding issue.

Tried this with three different graco spray guns. They did not fit.

These are a real time saver. I will take time out to just clean the filters in the spray handle, and this is time I can use on other stuff. These are great , I can now just toss my old filter into some denatured alcohol and put a new one into the handle and then when I have the time later I can clean the old filter.Love these
