Not easy to install
I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about how this unit attaches to the back-box. You have to line it up at an angle with the screws and twist it into place.1. If the back-box has any play, it won't hold it straight2. Some back-boxes don't have the strength needed to hold the screws in place and they end up pushing into the unit and you can't click the swtich panel on to them.3. The screws that come with it are too short and don't reach past the level of the wall to latch onto the back of the switch unit.4. I had to get longer screws but the holes for the screws are just a touch smaller than the standard screw heads for switch panels (UK/Ireland) so I had to file down the heads of the screws small enough to fit the slots in this switch.I tried this on more than one type of back box and wall installation and it was very difficult no matter what I tried. In the end I got it fitted but it's impossible to get 100% straight if it doesn't land that way on first fit. It works fine and looks ok.

Easy WiFi setup, easy wiring. Works like a charm.
My set up had existing neutral wires so it was an easy instal. As soon as the switch was powered up I was able to add it to my home in the Home App. So far it’s been totally solid. Really pleased with it!!

Lost wi-fi connection but now fixed
Lost wi-fi connection after a couple of months working okay. Tried every way to reconnect following all the instructions in the manual and online. Accessary restarted several times, hub Re-booted twice through hub manager - no luck 'Accessory Not Found'.Unable to find anyway of contacting manufacturer for help.Very disappointing!Just want to add that the blue wi-fi light does not come on.Upgrade to my previous comments.I had one more try to get this switch working correctly and I've discovered you have to hold the power quite a bit longer the the 5 seconds stated in the Manual, it was nearer 8-10 seconds until the switch returned to factory settings and I was able to reconnect the my wi-fi.I must say the response from the person at DoHome was very helpful and offered to replace the switch.

Dont buy this
Possibly the worst product I’ve ever bought off Amazon.Maybe some folks can get this to work. But you probably won’t. It just does not work at any level. And we're talking a light switch. A technology that’s been around for nearly 150 years.Let’s skip over the crappy installation instructions. Figured that out. Oh, and for most UK switches, you'll need a spacer to allow it to fit in the back box.No. The problem is that it just won’t connect to my smartphone. I’ve tried connecting via 2.4 ghz etc. But no dice. To make matters worse, it’s pretty useless as just a regular switch. For reasons I can only guess at, it doesn’t seem to recognise my fingers as touching it. I never thought it would take two minutes to turn a light on or off..Buy this at your peril. It truly sucks in every sense of the word.

Weak automation
The light switch works adequately when used manually but the software and automation is weak. For example, the Android app doesn't use the default language for labels for each switch. Alexa can only control all lights on or all lights off. Home Assistant requires cloning a GitHub repository with outstanding issues going back a couple of years. This is a disappointing product, not worthy of association with Alexa. I should have shopped around more. Such a contrast to a Tuya based solution.

Semi-reliable wifi switch
Easy to install and looks neat on the wall. However, it loses connection to the wifi (modem only two metres away) at random intervals and the only way to get the app to "see" it again is to turn the fuse for the hall lights off and on again at the fuse box. As our switch controls the outside front lights, this can be inconvenient when returning home in the dark if the app has disconnected from the switch.

Good overall
Research showed that this is one of the few HomeKit compatible switches in the UK market which can take a sufficient load to switch an immersion heater. The physical installation was easy (as long as you have a sufficiently deep back box as others have mentioned) and it was also easy to add to our HomeKit set up. Once set up it seems to work fine so far (a week on since installation). There are several, only minor, things to mention:1. I have some sympathy with the reviews that say its not totally clear how to get the glass panel at the front off (which you need to do to put in the screws to fix to the box). It's not clear from the instructions but not hard to work out either - just put a screwdriver in the slot behind the glass and then it prises off very easily.2. Unlike many accessories the HomeKit barcode which is needed for installation is not printed on the switch itself. Instead, there are several copies provided on stickers. However they come already stuck to places like the packaging box and (crazily) the outside of the plastic film which is put on the glass on the front of the switch to protect it during shipping. Would be far better if the barcode were printed on the switch or provided as stickers with peelable backing that you could put wherever you need (e.g. the back box) for future reference.3. I found the touch switch to manually activate the switch was a bit flaky - i.e. doesn't always work. When it does it seems to switch when you remove your finger rather than when you put it on.
