This Tea tastes so nice! I have started to really look forward to a cup of it! it doesn't give me any mind power though lol nor does it make me feel energetic but really nice anyway! so expensive but I only have 1 cup a day and seems to last a long time.

BLOOM Mindpower Matcha (30g)
This stuff is great, I can really feel a difference after taking it for over a month now. I have some first thing in the morning mixed into a smoothie, and I have also used it with just hot water to make a refreshing green tea pick-me-up. 4/5

Bitter and overwhelmingly ginger
I am unconvinced of the supposed "superfood" effects of green tea, so offer no judgement on them here. However, as a drink I found it pleasant enough, but with a rather bitter taste, and with the ginger and ginseng rather overwhelming the subtle taste of the green tea. As such, it seems rather an expensive drink when you could buy ginger teabags for less than a fifth of the price.

Not for me
Maybe this wasn't the best choice for my first attempts at green tea (in any form)I had anticipated that it was going to be an acquired taste - but thought that going for one with ginger might make that easier, as it is a flavour that I know and like. However it is a step too far for me.I suspect there is much that can be improved in my technique with a whisk but I doubt that will change the flavour profile significantly. I have seen the small bamboo whisks which are much finer than anything in my collection - but I can't imagine it will make that much difference. If you like matcha/green tea then this might be more to your taste. I don't think there is anything wrong with the product - but it probably isn't one for newbies. The little scoop is a neat and welcome addition!

Delicious
Tastes absolutely delicious, I recommend adding milk (I use oatly). It's very comforting. Can't comment on its physical effects as I haven't had it long enough.

A change from conventional green tea
It's quite neutral in taste and for me, it's better as a hot drink. It mixes well with some foods and even muesli. Men' Health magazine lists Matcha and ginseng as beneficial.

I love this Matcha
I love this Matcha. It really perks me up mentally and clears the brain fog substantially but also gives a physical burst of energy. Seriously expensive though for such a small amount so just a treat for when I'm feeling rich. The ginger in it is noticable in the flavour which is why I enjoy drinking it just as a warm drink with no need to add anything else.

Prefer a pot of good quality green tea leaves
I've drunk green tea for many years - it's a staple of my diet from early morning to late afternoon. However, I usually buy leaves and brew up a pot - this was my first proper foray into the world of matcha. Given all the focus on the health benefits of matcha at the moment I was pleased to be able to try a tub. The first point is, it's a bit of a faff - match 4 spatulas into some hot (but not boiling) water and then whisk. The whisking is to make it frothy, and it takes a bit of work to get the right consistency. I then followed the suggestion to pour over ice and mix in some cold water to make a refreshing drink. To be honest - it just tasted like luke warm green tea, without a particularly strong flavour (certainly the ginger and ginseng don't seem to be identifiable). Drunk as a regular green tea, it does the job but to be honest I don't think it compares with a really good quality green tea leaf which you can get for a comparable price, plus you have the hassle of whisking.
