Kill Your Boss: The Intern's Handbook (A John Lago Thriller)

Disappointing
I read this directly after being spoilt by the master Stephen King so Shane Kuhn was at a disadvantage from the start. Unfortunately, it highlighted the gulf between a veteran and a novice. Interesting premise but wholly unbelievable characters (especially John Lago) and hilarious descriptions of fight scenes. Not a great debut.

Dark, wry humour makes for a gripping read.
I picked this up after a recommendation from a friend. Dark, great plot and great characters, and consistently amusing. Its wry take on the white collar world of assassination makes this a page-turning must-read. In places it's campy and over-the-top and that's absolutely great. It reads like some of the best work of Chuck Palahniuk and that's no bad thing.Pick it up now, it's well worth your time.

This was surprisingly good. I hoped for Fight Club - and it wasn't that, but it was gripping and dark and I now have a recipe for the world's best cup of coffee.

very enjoyable
An unusual format for a novel, written as an assassins hand book by a soon to be an ex assassin . Witty and well written make this a very enjoyable read. A typical "take it on holiday" book light but engaging. Well worth it.
