Brother Wize Games BGM-002 Boss Monster: Tools of Hero-Kind

We are a big fan of the base game of this, I have given this a 4 as it's slightly more fiddly than the original. From what I've picked up it's based on the digital game/app, hence why it adds an element of management to it, in terms of playing and tracking the what the expansion is doing.It's nice to add in the additions of this, however if honest we don't also do it if we want a quick blast or are playing with new players.

The advanced room and spell cards you get with this expansion add some nice item based fun, the item cards themselves add some interesting features which can quickly turn the tide of any match. Well worth it if you play Boss Monster often.

My husband and I love this game although have so far had two faulty packs one being the main game and the second being this expansion. Containing duplicate cards and missing cards we are in email discussions with the makers of the game and will be "soon" receiving new packs.

Great game. A bit different from your conventional card games but still a magnificent purchase. Everyone I've introduced to it loves it and so do I. An absolutely amazing game with hours of fun waiting to be had.

Boss Monster is great. Can't deny that. This expansion is also good. But given that the original game is under 20 quid, over a tenner for a measly 26 cards feels a wee bit on the steep side.
