Good board game, easy to pick up and play
Good board game and easy to play in big or small groups. Emulates the TV show well but to be honest we used the quiz cards and pyramid tool on their own and didn't follow the written rules. Would buy again. Comes with a plastic slider thing to reveal the answers as they are guessed.

Not Ten out of Tenables for us
Bought this for my mother who loves the TV series and as avid board gamers I thought this would be an ideal present for someone who never knows that they want. The hug I received when I gave it to her gave me the sense that it hit the spot (it also made me feel warm and fuzzy inside too as she gives the best hugs). We played it this week while were away and it got mixed reviews. She loved it, but that's because she loves the show. However we were made to feel rather simple by the first round of questions asked. Now i'm no Oxford grad student but I am pretty clever and do very well at quizzes and any question games. In fact not one of us made it through to the final round other than the captain by default, who bombed with only 1 correct answer. The 2nd round we got the host to pick more adequate questions and the game was vastly improved. I did peruse the questions and maybe by fluke we happened to get the set of difficult questions as the rest seemed doable in most cases, but there are some stinkers in there.Overall - if you like the show, you'll like the game, if you like family games but don't watch the show, then like us you'll get bored. (I watch the show but wouldn't say I love it, I find it more infuriating at the people answering the questions wrongly) My biggest gripes are that unless you're the host or the captain you sit doing nothing for a long period of time, which negates the family fun element and its missing the deh, deh, deh noise as it goes through the answers, although to be fair my daughter did a pretty good job making the noise and spouting off corny jokes like Warwick. Its not bad, but its not great. we will play again and hopefully it will improve.

Oh what fun this game is!
As a WILTY fan I was excited to get this as a pressie and it hasn't let me down. We have laughed at each other for hours . Only one problem, the glaring issue of running out of cards. But until then enjoy!

Disappointingly not like TV show
First I should say that I am reviewing version 2, as my game was different to many of the reviews.I wondered before I bought it how they would reproduce the TV show, where you are challenged with questions and you have to make up/respond. But actually it is more like trivial pursuits in some ways - there is a choice between a true answer and one or more made up ones - all driven by cards. Disappointed but we did enjoy playing nevertheless

Buy the App instead
First of all I will say that the makers of this game have ensured the game experience is very similar to the show itself. The life-lines and the way of playing can probably be implemented very quickly with a brief read through of the rules, especially if you are a fan of the show. That being said, the main question of any board game is "Did we find it fun?" and unfortunately the answer is probably "No"We felt the fact that the game is so reliant on the format of the show is one of its downfalls. One of your group will have to act as host meaning they're removed from the main fun of the game. We found the rules to be a little confusing on how we should implement this over the course of a game of four people. Changing this into a team vs team game could have easily kept the spirit of the show but tied it in better with the experience people would want to have at home with friends and family. The triangle which holds the answer is also poorly designed. Its fiddly and the slots for each answer are so thin its incredibly hard to read the revealed answers from two feet away, let alone from across the room. The Booklet of answers is also a really bad idea. Trying to keep it open on the page you're referring to without looking at the answers for upcoming questions and faffing around with revealing the answers ended up being downright stressful. The Question cards aren't random either so if you're just taking from the top of the pack then the next questions will be on the same page you're looking at!If you've seen the show you will certainly recognise some of the questions. If you have played the phone app version you will realise that all the makers have done is recycled all the questions from the show into the app and from the app into the game. Pretty Lazy.Overall, The Show is fun to watch but the game is poorly executed. The App is pretty much a better experience, more fun, authentic sounds and it gets updated with new questions all the time... Its also a tenth of the price.

Must have for any tenable fan, minus the cheesy Warwick jokes.
Questions are very close to the show. Some real hard ones. Big book full of answers. Would be better if harder questions were different colour for the end round. The answer board reveals are a little small for when groups play.
