A dark, twisted, provocative thriller about obsession, social anxiety and mental health.
“I shall be the defining moment in her entire life, the point at which everything will curve, because I, a total stranger, will be the one who ends it.”Jane is unhappy. She’s a struggling writer trapped in an underwhelming marriage with her husband Ted, scraping by to pay for a mortgage for a house and a life that she’s never really wanted. There’s only ever been one person she cared about, one person who truly understood her: Thalia, Jane’s best and only friend nearly a decade ago during their time together at Oxford. But then the night of the formal which should have bound them together for good, drove them apart. Until now.Because after years of searching, Thalia is everywhere as she tops the New York Times bestseller list. And now that Jane has found Thalia after all these years, she won’t let her go…Unlike the Aunties series which is a rom-com, or Vera Wong-a murder mystery, Jesse Sutanto switches gears yet again to write a devious psycho-thriller that will send a shudder down your spine.I’m Not Done with You Yet is a cat and mouse game illuminating the dark side of female friendships. The author blends her Indonesian Chinese heritage and her experience at Oxford into a dark, twisted, provocative thriller about obsession, toxic relationships, social anxiety and mental health.Deliciously wicked, this Gone Girl meets Crazy Rich Asians tale is a perplexing puzzle that will gut punch you and then question your allegiance with every turn of the page.

I’m Not Done with You Yetby Jesse Q. Sutanto4/5 ⭐️Jane does not know what it means to be happy in her current life. She feels trapped by her marriage and writes mediocre novels. The last time she was happy was nearly a decade ago. Back when she was at Oxford enrolled in a creative writing program with Thalia, her best friend.Thalia was the one person Jane could be herself around, the one person who Jane truly cared about. But then one night, everything changed. The two friends found themselves in a blood-stained mess. Jane vowed to always be there for Thalia but Thalia vanished. She disappeared for years until she showed up on the New York Times bestseller list.Thalia and Jane finally reconnect. Thalia invites Jane into her life and Jane knows this time will be different. However, the two women have conflicting plans for their relationship.I’m Not Done with You Yet is a suspenseful and twisty read about toxic female friendships. The first half of the book dragged on for me. Jane expresses her emotionally disturbed thoughts repeatedly. However, once Jane and Thalia reunite the book picks up pace. The second half is more addictive. The characters make this book! They are so intertwined and deceiving, that you do not know who to trust or who will come out on top until the very end.

This book has me in a complete choke hold, and I couldn't put it down. Before you attempt to guess what you think will take place, understand Jane and Thalia are not what you expect.

Great Read
"Some friends—and friendships—are worth killing for in this dark, twisty suspense novel by national bestselling author Jesse Q. Sutanto."After reading Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murders by Jesse Q Sutanto, I was so excited to read more of her work. This book was very different from Vera Wong, more dark academia/psychological thriller opposed to laugh out loud cozy murder mystery - but I enjoyed it just as much. Told initially through the POV of Jane, a self diagnosed sociopath, we jump between past and present timelines, as Jane is determined to reunite with her college friend, Thalia. Jane hasn't seen Thalia since she disappeared after they experienced a blood soaked night in college. When Jane catches up to Thalia at a book signing event, we switch POV's and the story twists and turns allowing all of the pieces to fall into place. This book is perfect for anyone looking for a good psychological thriller. The audiobook is very well done and a great option to consume this twisty thriller.Thank you to @netgalley and @berkleypub for the gifted copy of this book.

A true suspense psychological thriller
No spoilers I promise. This book was so well written I couldn't put it down. Written with flash backs which can be confusing in other books, I was easily able to keep the characters and the story straight. Or so I thought....Great twists, and a satisfying unexpected ending..
