seems ok now but
This device has a few things that make me question its longivity.1. The light is 'sealed' in that you cannot replace the batteries when they go bad.2. The grommet around the wire is somewhat of a loose fit. As the light heats up and cools down, water will be condensing inside the case. If you mount this upside down and exposed to the weather, it will for sure get water building up inside.3. The fit and finish of the glass on the front is a little off. There are clear chips along the edges. Those usually lead to heat shock cracking/shattering. Something that could happen with a 100w light in the winter time.4. The light housing is plastic so it is hard to tell if there will be heat building up.5. The water-proof cable connector doesnt seem to screw together well and might not be water-proof.These are a lot of ifs but my experience with lights like this is it might last one or two seasons. Time will tell. For now it works but I have seen better implementations of these kinds of lights.

Exceptional Solar Lighting, Good Looking, Very Versative, Solid Deal for the $$
I have over a dozen solar powered lights currently on my property. For one thing, it is just not practical to run wiring all over everywhere to install 120v lights, not to mention both the cost of doing all that, and then the monthly electric bill.A few of them are the same light, but most are different ones. I'm always looking for what might be better than one I already have, or different designs to fit certain spaces and coverage. Some are the big street light types, while others are much smaller. Most get the job done, but aren't all that great looking. And that doesn't include a couple dozen solar accent lights on perimeter fence posts.I'd already installed one just like this just a couple of months ago, only it was 100w instead of this much brighter 200w version. And I was super happy with it. This one is even better, with way more light, so it can cover a lot more area from a higher mounting point.Having the ability to place the solar panel over 10' away is a huge benefit, since where I want these lights is also where there are trees or tall fences blocking the sun at that lamp location. With a good size remote solar panel, the light can be in a shady area, but the panel where it is in sunlight for hours to charge up the batteries for the night. And being 200w, having a larger solar panel placed in a good sunlight location are essential. This one (and the 100w one) have a nice, clean look, rather than the more industrial design of my solar "street" lights. This one is being placed on my front porch, which has a high roof peak, to better light the front door and a large decorative space above it. That door and area above are recessed in several feet from the two flanking front entry lamps, so it is fairly dark there at night. But now it will be very will lit every night.Comparing all the different solar lights I have around our place (other than pole mounted street lights, which are great but not decorative), this one tops my list for clean attractive looks on or off, solar panel placement flexibility, compact but super bright lamp head, and especially the low price. Definitely a winner!

Has a dusk to dawn feature...
I ordered the Uniontang Outdoor 56 LED Auto Sensor Solar Light because it had a dusk to dawn feature. This feature does work as advertised, but please note that the dusk to dawn feature is based on the light coming into the solar panel and NOT a sensor on the light. So if there is some light shining on the solar panel at night, your light will not work in the AUTO mode. It took me awhile to figure this out, as it is not discussed in the instructions. Furthermore, to make it more confusing, you can have a certain level light on the solar panel and have the light function, but at a certain brightness, it will not function. You can, however, use the ON mode, but then it will not automatically turn off at dawn; you will have to turn it off with the remote. The remote control has an AUTO dawn to dusk feature, ON/OFF buttons, three different timer buttons, and a full brightness and half brightness buttons. The remote works as advertised. The Uniontang Outdoor 56 LED Auto Sensor Solar Light has 56 LEDs and is the equivalent of 100 Watts. It is not a very bright light. The front is glass and the body is made of plastic, with a 180 degree metal hanger. The solar panel has a metal frame and with shorter hanger that moves approximately 170 degrees. There is an approximate 10 foot long cord that runs between the solar panel and the light. The connection between the two has a rubber ring on one side and a piece that screws down on the other, to keep out water. The light has a small indicator that will flash while the solar panel is charging. You also receive bolts and screws for the hanging both the light and solar panel, however, I did not receive the advertised batteries for the remote.Overall, the Uniontang Outdoor 56 LED Auto Sensor Solar Light works as advertised. It has three different timers, a auto setting, can be dimmed, and the light has indicators that flash while the solar panel is charging. The light is not that bright, but it is equivalent to the advertised wattage, therefore, I gave it five stars.

Super bright at night!
I have this security light on the corner of my outdoor shed. The solar panel is separate which I really love because of the way my shed sits. There's plenty of cord, so I was able to install the solar panel on the side that faces the sun, and even tilt it to take full advantage of the morning sun. So far I've been impressed, without any issues.
