Let me start with the packaging - the item arrived fast and in excellent condition.Now the taste: just tried to soften a few pieces in hot boiling water. My advice is to put bigger pieces in for a little longer than 10 minutes. Once they soften, they truly look like chicken, and their texture is very similar to chicken. Flavor is pretty good, too - no bad aftertaste. Once you add spices or cook it in some sauce, it will be a great addition to your meal.I am new to the soy based products, and haven't tried any recipes yet, but based on the initial taste trial, it is a great meat substitute for vegetarians and vegans. Highly recommend!

I dont often eat soy products, but sometimes I want to diversify my diet. I really liked the texture, very similar to the texture of meat. Also a very convenient size of pieces, for one or two bites. No need to cut!I like to add lot of spices to a dish and I was surprised how well this product absorbed the taste, other soy meat that I have tried absorbs additives much worse.Soy meat, soy sauce, curry, paprika and vegetables! great protein meal

When I first bought this product, I was ecstatic because I have allergies that a LOT of plant based "meats" contain in some shape or form...this product does not contain them...However, the texture was like rubber...I boiled them for ten minutes and fifteen minutes...still rubber-like...someone said 30 minutes...I'll try that next time...IF the texture is fixed after 30 minutes, I'll change my rating.

The product has a very similar look to shredded meat. The pieces are a little too big for my taste, and the texture, due to its size is a little too rubbery. Very almost pink look to it. Unique product, but prefer others more than this one.

The texture is similar to natural chicken meat, the taste is pleasant, and it can be cooked quickly. I made pasta with chicken fillet today, and I am very happy with the result! Glad I didn't hesitate to order this product. Now we are planning to try this product with the beef flavor.We strongly recommend it to everyone!

Will definitely continue ordering this. It’s perfect for stir frys, sandwiches, soups, pasta, whatever! Make sure to rehydrate using boiling water and a longer time than suggested. It also helps if you’re cooking it in some liquid like a stir fry sauce or liquid aminos or broth, etc. The texture is fantastic - has a rip-apart quality and good bite to it. The serving size listed is 100g but a realistic serving is about 50g (dry weight) ends up being a lot after soaking. So each bag realistically has about 5 servings.

This came fresh and quickly, and honestly tasted like beef. I cooked it well to be like beef and the product is great to fake the beef. This product is 5 stars. you can do so many different dishes with this. Great alternative to meat.

We have used this for several recipes in the stir fry and the air fryer. Good thing about these strips is that they take on the flavor of whatever liquid you rehydrate it with (if its not just water with no seasoning of course). The texture is very similar to meat.
