Fresh flavourful spices.
I love these little jars of spices. Sometimes you can forget what spices you have, they get pushed to the back of your cupboard, that is not the case with Zest and Zing, these little jars are eye catching, so I know exactly what I've got and they all get used.

Now that i have found Zest and Zing i have stopped buying spices from anywhere else. All the spice combinations are amazing, they take simple fresh ingredients to the next level. Not only are spices exceptional quality they different blends are inventive. I can also recommend the spice sets as great gifts for anyone who likes too cook, even a little.

Cute but expensive
A gift for someone hooked on Katsu curry. She appreciated it but would probably have told me off if she knew how much I'd spent in a bit of curry powder!

very nice but far too expensive.

Tiny quantity.
Zero value for money....you get about two teaspoonfuls for your money in a jar , in a box with a lot of packaging. Tastes good though. Will never buy again as I feel duped/cheated by the quantity.

Instructions = zero; pretentiousness = 10.
Grossly overpriced for what is decent but unspectacular spice mix. But, the worse thing is that there are no instructions for how you should use. I like to have instructions to help provide some baseline guidance. The jar says to go to their website, but there is no katsu curry recipe there. How stupid is that? You’re left to experiment with this small and (for what it is) expensive pot of pretentiousness.The resultant curry is middling at best, but probably the seller would argue that it’s my cooking and the guesses I have to make using it or I didn’t follow their stupid slow motion video “recipe” correctly.
