I had bought a smaller one before, came back to buy the large one for my large cat. My cats love them. I can tell they feel warm, cozy, comfy and protected in these. They also wash very well. Great cat bed! Would buy any time again. I bought many different cat beds for my big cat family and these are among the best.Update: I washed the small one that I had purchased a while back and I followed washing and drying instructions but unfortunately it ruined this cat bed. Some patches are now matted and it doesn't look pretty anymore. Washed it on delicate, cold water. Dryer on lowest coolest setting for 20 min. Do not put this in the dryer!!!

Most small dogs stay cold or get spooked a lot, and my little Cooper is no different. I ordered him this cat cave about 2 weeks ago. It arrived 3 or 4 days later and Cooper hardly ever comes out of it(only for potty breaks and food). He loves loves loves it. It is soft, fluffy and the perfect amount of firmness for him. It's super easy to take apart for washing and holds up in the washing machine. I will definitely buy this bed again when ever he wears this one out

Our cat for whom this bed was bought now has a few new nicknames, courtesy of my husband. He has started calling her falafel and saying that her bed is a pita, and calling her Tacocat because he likes the palindrome and that’s kind of what she looks like now. She LOVES this bed. When she wants to be a little more social or is warm enough she’ll move to the outer edge of it and rest her head on the side and watch whatever we’re doing. When it’s cooler in the living room or she just wants some more privacy and/or darkness, she’ll tuck herself deep in the back of it. She hasn’t climbed on top, yet, but that’s fine. This bed was a definite hit for all of us. It’s very soft, and I liked that I was able to get her a somewhat subtle pink version.

The bed is not the highest quality, but for the price, it’s made her very happy. She loves curling up inside and watching everyone around her. She sometimes gets too warm in it and crawls out. Don’t know if it will hold up well in a washing machine- thankfully I don’t think she’s had any accidents in it (she is till just a puppy).

This cat bed is very comfy as three of my kitties fight over it at night. I do not like how the hood can’t stand on its own and flops down but my cats are able to nudge it open and curl up. With the hood down I can’t even tell if my cat is in there. They seem to love it, which I’m very surprised that since they are so finicky. I did purchase two more so everyone can be happy.
