Good Quality Futon, Easy Assembly!
I read a lot of reviews and looked at a ton of small futons before purchasing this one. I expected 1) the box to be a bit rough looking and 2) for a small gap between the cushions. Both were true, but honestly the gap is barely noticeable and mine fit together really really well. It looks incredible and it hard yet quite comfortable in my opinion. I was always planning to put some cushions and a throw blanket on it. It is BETTER than expected. And so so so easy to assemble. It took about 15 minutes and works perfectly. The only thing is I don't know how to lock the back in place so it stays up ( I'm sure it does lock) but mine sits against a wall so its nice a huge priority. We just moved into this house and so many tears have been shed assembling and disassembling furniture. This was about as good of an experience you can get. Quality product, beautiful design. Easy to put together. Definitely recommend this futon.

Well designed, compact and sturdy
This sofa sleeper works well in a small room, replacing an old, worn out foldout sleeper sofa with one of those awkward steel mesh mechanism with an uncomfortable thin coil mattress that folded down into the bottom of the sofa and was super-heavy. This sofa arrived in a single box, which I needed help moving into the room, but once it was there, I was able to fairly easily unpack and lift the various components. It assembled relatively easy, though you should use a ratchet or electric screwdriver for screwing on the legs, and be patient in lining up the openings and starting the screwing process by hand. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the sofa padding, both in sofa-mode and bed-platform mode, is extremely firm, but I consider that a "plus", as it makes for a firm, non-sinking place to sit when in sofa-mode, which is the vast majority of its intended use. And, I the firmness will help this piece of furniture withstand the test-of-time, and not sag or get imprints of body parts on the sofa seat areas. One aspect that wasn't really spelled-out clearly in the assembly flyer in the box...Seems obvious now, but there are foldout legs, easy to unfolds, in zippered compartments behind the seatbacks that support the sofa back when it is deployed in a flat position. Be sure to unzip and fold these out before flattening! Also really weirdly, it didn't mention anywhere I saw the details of physical action you need to take to flatten the sofa. You need to pull the each of the two part sofa backs forward a bit - kind of counter-intuitive - and then you can hear the latch release, and you can flatten the sofa back down to the floor. Again, don't forget to fold out those legs in the zipper compartments. The yellow color we ordered is a bit different, but we have hardwood floors and the color seems to work with the wood color, and in general brightens up the small room a bit.

Exceptional value
Easy to assemble, looks pretty good. Comfortable with adjustable levels in between flat and fully seated. My only complaint is a moderate amount of squeaking when readjusting positions or just barely moving with the backs all the way up (I’m only 165lbs). If you’re sensitive to noises like that, this may not be for you. Again, this is a very good value and some compromise is to be expected.

Perfect for tiny space city life
The color is very pretty. This is perfect for small space living. I can fit on it comfortably, but I'm only 5 feet tall. It folds out to a full size (just a little shorter then a regular full size). It's easy to assemble and easily folds out to a bed. The legs for the bed are inside easy to open zipper storage in the back and fold out like a card table. It's sturdy and firm and I use it to sit on as part of my office/living space. For comfort to sleep when family visits, I add a 2 inch memory foam topper and a synthetic down mattress cover, which I roll up and store underneath when not using.

Beautiful but Beware!
This futon has a style that I love (Mid-Century Modern), and I even like the color (Mustard). It's the ideal size—neither excessively big nor little. I purchased this for my home office/guest room, so it won't be used frequently. It's only for appearances and an overnight visitor. But assembly was merely passable. It is somewhat awkward and you could bend one of the legs, so you will definitely need an extra person. However, the biggest annoyance is that the futon topples over backwards! If it is not leaning against a wall, it will collapse. Since mine will be against a wall, I've chosen not to return it. However, stop if you're in an open-concept living space and this is going to be in the middle of the room. Look for something different. This strikes me as one of the most absurd design errors. I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. It's rather hard on the comfort front, so I can’t image anyone using this as an everyday futon. So, I bought a thick mattress pad to give it some padding, which I'll use when I have overnight guests. It’s very low to the ground so keep that in mind if you have any joint or muscle issues. I did purchase 2” risers and it made a difference when getting up.

Great purchase
Easy to assemble, the cushions are very firm, which I wanted. Blue color is a nice navy. The seat isn’t very deep, but it’s comfortable. As a bed, it’s between a twin and full. Not really comfortable as is, so I bought a memory foam mattress topper and it’s fine for guests. Sleeps one person. Good quality.

Not suitable for sleeping
It is pretty and is fine as a sofa. But the center has a metal rod that sticks right into your back when you sleep on it. I had to buy a mattress cover to make it suitable to sleep on, but it was still very uncomfortable.

Works well for my purposes
I bought it to go in my kid’s playroom to have some adult seating. For those purposes, it works well. It is comfortable and sturdy enough. I can’t speak to sleeping on it. I also love the color as it is a dark blue, but not quite a true navy, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I think my photo captures the color well. Assembly was easy and it came well packed, but I do want to echo what someone else said about the potential for the middle portion of the seat to bend during assembly/moving and cause issues where the middle legs are. So, just be cautious of that.
