Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my dog’s favorite brand. She’ll finish her whole bowl despite trying other brand name dog food. My puppy is a very picky eater and I recommend this for the picky eaters.

Cost effective and great variety
Our dog loves Blue Wilderness as recommended by our Vet. We alternate the different flavors for her but she seems to like them all!

Switched from Breed Specific Brand/Formula
I changed my senior female GSD from Royal Canin German Shepherd formula because her stools were a little on the loose side. I used to work for Royal Canin and fed my male GSD it for years until he reached the senior stage. Switched my female to this red meat formula and they firmed up and are smaller which I take to mean she is absorbing more nutrients. When I was training private clients sometimes I would see their dog poop several times when I was only there less than two hours. I suggested to change the food. Many, many years ago I was in the pet food industry, not Royal Canin a different company, and was told to test my dogs' food and put some kibble in their bowl and place warm/hot water just above the kibble level. The more expansion the kibble grow, the more "filler" it contains. I still do this and this formula does not expand very much. I fed my dachshund/chihuahua, who can eat just about anything, Blue Buffalo's small breed formula but his poops were a little loose and large. You never know what food will work because every dog is different.My daughter's year old cat is on one of the BB cat formulas, maybe something like sensitive digestion. I am babysitting the cat this week and its "fighting, not raining, cats and dogs" over here.
