This is so versatile, it's ridiculous. This is higher in protein than quinoa; so it's worth having in the cupboard.Not only can you use it as a thickener in soups and stews, but as an alternative to potatoes. I like adding it to mince. It absorbs all the flavours from the juices and stock and is one of my brother's favourite meals.
