With tall stakes in the pots to hold the tops up, these netting bags are perfect for protecting my tomato plants from ground squirrels and birds. They are light enough to allow sunlight through and to be able to water through them. The drawstring works well and I tighten it around the rim of the pot. The only downside is that it's fiddly to keep loosening and re-tighten the bag and awkward to reach up and pick the fruit: it would be easier if it was designed to also open at the top so the bag could be slid up and down to get inside.Otherwise, I recommend them.

Our daughter's blueberry bushes were starting to produce good amounts of berries, but our grandkids never had a chance to eat them because the birds got there first. So on a visit this summer we ordered these bags and installed them. Success! We tried the medium sized bag, although the smallest size might have sufficed.

I only gave it 4 stars because my cat bit it and made a hole in 1 of the nettings. Otherwise they do keep my chickens and caterpillars away from my jasmine and passion flower vines. Going to buy another set.

I was getting a bit distressed watching the backyard creature welcome my new strawberry plant with their teeth. I needed something for just the one plant. So far. I put my strawberry planter inside the bag which was just tall enough to accommodate the stakes and it sits level with the drawstring underneath. I like the size of the mesh itself. Bugs won't get on either. I'm no longer feeding the squirrels and birds. Love it!

These net bags are awesome! They go on easy and cinch at the bottom to help keep critters out. They are light weight but quality! And they are breathable and not light blocking. Exactly what we were hoping for to cover our blueberry bushes.

I made a second order because they help deter chipmunks from my blueberries.

The only reason I took one star off is because they are so thick and protective, they block my sprinkler from watering the plants behind them. But they do great at protecting your plants from birds, etc. They are also a pain to take on and off to get my cherry tomatoes. But that’s better then going out to find they’ve been half eater!

These are of great quality however, I have not used them yet, but when I do, I will post a new review
