Such a good harness! Easy to use, durable and does what it should. Especially love how easy it is to adjust! Just remember that the ring for the leash has to be on top and in the front. Very easy to use. It also softens with wear. Highly recommend!

I couldn't decide if I wanted to rate it a 4 or 5.The only thing I do t like is that for my puppy it could use 1 more hole for the neck adjustments. But other than that, the minimal size fits my 9 week old puppy just fine.The reason I went with a 5 star reveiw is because the product is of quality. Good Stitching. Sleek look. My pup looked like she enjoyed wearing it. The other reason I picked a 5 is because as my puppy grows out of it, I will definitely buy the medium size one.

I bought the medium large size as my pup is at the smaller end of size for that harness and customer comments were that it runs small. It does NOT run small! I returned the harness and bought the smaller sizeIt's as good as the pictures as far as stylishness and robustness. I think the leather would need to soften a little to be fully comfortable but my puppy is happy wearing it.However, the buckles on the neck adjusting straps and buckles are the wrong way round -- the ends face forward. My puppy is a chewer and has chewed the ends on both of the straps. If the straps and buckles were designed the other way, the ends would face backwards and unlikely to get chewed.I am going to buy another of these harnesses for my other dog, who is not a chewer, as they are robust and stylish

I had to look at website to see how this thing went on. The reason was because this is supposed to be a no pull harness, but the D ring for the leash is attached to the front belt that goes around the neck and chest. On other harnesses like this the D ring for the leash is attached to the belt that goes around the back belt that goes around the rib cage. Also if you look close at the photos in ad the harness is being warn backwards on some of the dogs.My dog is a small 45 pound Pitt and as far as quality it d I especially seem to work as a control harness, but not a no pull harness. The leather is thick but soft. The rivets and belt buckles are of good quality.

I have two major complaints bout this harness; one is about sizing and the other is about construction quality.How did the manufacturer determine sizing for this harness? We have a Wire Haired Fox Terrier, a small/medium sized dog. The straps that hold the chest piece around the neck are way too long. Ditto for the chest strap. The next size down is too small, so I shortened all the straps for a better fit.The stitching seems to be good but the rivet work is poor. We were at an outdoor , overnight event when we noticed one of the rivets had separated. I was able with almost no effort to separate three more rivets. I made a field repair with needle and thread and used copper rivets and burrs for a much more permanent/strong repair. One picture shows how easily the factory rivets separated.Recommend with caution.

I replaced her old clip-on fabric harness with this leather one. she doesn't' seem as itchy with this one. Her old harness had to be snug or she'd slip out of it. This one can be loose and she seems to be more comfortable in it. She was a bit shy putting the new harness on. Now she comes over and seems to ask me to put it on her. The only downside is that the leather has a chemical smell that wears off after a couple of days. Doesn't seem to bother the pup and wife has not mentioned it. Not a real problem as the oder does get weaker each day.

At first the harness seemed to be of excellent quality and I was very excited to get it on my 1 year old Boston Terrier mix, but after only 3 days the leather loop holding the metal link where the leash is hooked broke, and my dog took off. I would not recommend this product to anyone with a dog that likes to put any resistance on their leash.

After trying numerous other brands that were primarily a weave/soft wesh type of material we decided to give this product a go. GREAT CHOICE! Since placed on our dogs they have not tried to chew them off or been able to get out. Both dogs are mixed breed - our male is a 70 lb American pit-bull / hound and our female is a 55 lb American pit-bull / Boxer mix. They fit extremely well and do break in easily. Be sure to measure carefully around the chest and let this be the main guiding rule for determining the size. The quality is really outstanding for the price. We actually expected a "cheap" type of leather but this is a very sturdy and well made product. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this particular brand to dog owners of any size breed.

After having this harness for about 9 months, I can say that it was a great purchase for our French Bulldog. He’s very comfortable in it as the leather is strong but has softened and shaped to his body nicely. It gives him great all around support and is perfect for all conditions. We get tonnes of complements on it!

Mein Hund musste sie anfangs dran gewöhnen. Er war etwas irritiert, da er nur normale Halsbänder kannte. Am Anfang hat er drauf rumgekaut. Das Material hat es überstanden. Mittlerweile beachtet er es gar nicht mehr. Da es sich um Leder handelt riecht es logischerweise auch danach. Die Größe lässt sich schnell und einfach an den Hund anpassen.Hund ist Glücklich !
