Great quality device!
So I've had an old, generic Wii2HDMI which I bought in 2011 and compared to this one, the difference is really noticeable. The visuals with this converter are really high quality, there's no crushed blacks and it looks better than the original Nintendo component cables which I have. This old Wii2HDMI I have was/is really dark, colors are weird in some places (crushed blacks etc.) and LiNKFOR simply looks better and isn't terribly dark which is another huge plus.Long story short, if you don't have a component input in your newest TV, this will surely appeal to you or if you simply prefer to have less cables sticking out of it and taking space.I highly recommend it. It looks great and for that price you simply can't go wrong ;)!

Works like a dream!
Had this for Christmas as I was unable to connect the original 1st gen Wii to my Samsung 4k smart TV. This device was so easy to connect, a simple HDMI cable and I have my Wii on my 55" tv now. It fills the full screen and is not pixelated in the slightest. Would definitely recommend.

Connected my old Nintendo Wii and my Samsung Curve TV!
I bought this to be able to connect my Nintendo Wii to our Samsung Smart TV (after unsuccessfully trying to get the AV cables to fit; they didn't fit our TV!). I had bought our son a few Mario games, which he loved watching on YouTube! This little box has enabled him to play Wii games. It's small but does what it claims to. Picture quality on initial start up wasn't great; not sure if that's because the Wii is old, because we're now used to everything in HD, of because the box just gives a less than perfect picture.Either way, it's still very playable! HDMI cable is a good length. Easy to install and use. My TV doesn't actually recognise it though, so whilst it is in the HDMI port 1, it is greyed out on my TV. I just pressed it on the remote anyway to see if it worked and it did!Worth the money to see my 4 year old enjoying Mario Party and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games.

My Wii now in 1080p HD amazing!
Fantastic product, Wii picture is now crystal clear, sound is crystal clear, I advise anyone with a Wii console to purchase this product. You do away with the other cables, simple just 1 little box to plug into rear of Wii console, then HDMI cable to tv and voila, perfect picture and sound.... 10 out of 10. Very happy with purchase, thank you....

Perfect for the job
The adapter works fine with my first generation Wii console and gives good image on my FullHD TV. Sound is clear and works both through the HDMI connection or by directly connected it to the external sound system. I prefer routing the audio through the HDMI port as my sound system is directly connected to my TV. Don't forget to configure the TV type in the Wii settings menu to HDTV as that will give the best possible results.

Didn't work
Bought this with the hope it would enable me to connect our Wii to the TV using an HDMI cable rather than the composite cables which are too short. Unfortunately this device hasn't worked at all. I've tried it with multiple HDMI cables and more than one TV but all it says is 'no signal' - so I may have been sent a defunct product.

Doesn't upscale
According to my TV (Philips OLED903) this does not provide native upscaling to 720p or 1080p - instead it passes through 480p and, unfortunately does it with a significant amount of picture noise at the same time (indicated by specific colours showing faint "rolling" lines across the screen)It's not terrible, but it's not as advertised (does not upscale and leaves the upscaling to the TV itself) so I can't give it a good review

Revisitlise an old game consol
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and being housebound for the foreseeable future, I found the Wii nestling in a cupboard, as we also have a Wii Fit this would be good lockdown exercise however we needed to connect to a telly with only HDMI available. The adapter arrived really quickly plugged in straight away, set the telly to the right input and hey presto we have a Wii. I would not describe the picture as HD but the Wii never was brilliant in the first place, and for use with a Wii Fit it's mmore than adequate.
