I was expecting the watered down formula that shea moisture switched to, but was happily surprised how thick the cream is in each tub! I need a leave in that’s conditioning since I put a curl activator on top that can be drying. These products work great to add some extra moisture when I’m styling.

My daughter loves how it makes her curly hair look so shiny and moist and full of body.

I have a long history with shea moisture conditioners. I tend to stray but I always come back because nothing else compares in regard to quality and affordability. I have curly hair (3b for reference) and both of these conditioners keep my hair moisturized without being greasy or weighing it down too much. I like to use the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave in at night and the Curl Enhancing Smoothie as my daytime leave in/styler. Both play well with other products and oils and smell delicious.

I have used these products in the past. I love the curl cream but the leave in conditioner smells like cigarette ashes. Like I said I've used this before and this was never noticeable. I've used it a few times but recently stopped. My hair has been a lot drier than usual and I am wondering if it is the product. I've never had an issue before. I'm not sure what it is with these products online but everytime I order from here it doesn't seem as authentic tic of a product that I've have bought in the stores prior. It's disappointing because so many are hard to find or are so much more expensive.
