Worth the money.
I bought a Flamingo plant in December. Now there’s not much daylight being winter so I purchased the grow light. Come spring the plant was healthy and new leaves and flowers. I believe the grow light helped in growth of the plant. The lamp is all so cheap to run.

These lights are great, well made and more to the point, plants seem to respond to them. I expect to buy more of these for indoor use.

A bit of weird way to use this, I use it to grow Cheato in my marine tank and it works very well along side a t5 light

Works well for small or single plants indoors its just a bit bright for me.
I got this to try help seedlings get ready to go outside this summer. So to test it i thought i would try some mint plants i had lying on my windowsill.For the test i built a little box and mounted the lights inside. The other mint plant i left on my windowsill you will be able to see the difference with the two in the photos.Here is what i thought of the light.It is small and sturdy and doesn't use very much electricity at all (according to my smart meter).The lights stay relatively cool and even inside that small box the heat didn't go up much even after a full 10 hours of it being on.The reason i built the box was because the light was so bright that it lit up half my sitting room. Once inside the box the light was contained and it was fine.The lights give off a sort of pinky purple glow due to the mix of red and blue LED's.The lights did help my mint grow so i would recommend this to anyone wanting to grow a single or small group of plants indoors.I don't own any other lights so i cant do a direct comparison but compared to the sun coming in my window it was almost as good.(The plant on the left is the one from the lightbox and the one on the right had natural sunlight in a south facing windowsill)
