Perfect, vintage mailbox
We were searching for a unique way for people to give us cards at our wedding shower and I came across this vintage mailbox. I like it because it can be standalone or mounted to a wall. The color is accurate. The dimensions are accurate. I will say if you are using this or an actual mailbox, it will not fit magazines or large pieces of mail. But it is perfect for the standard letter or business letter that comes to the house.

Very Nice and Devorative Small For Much Mail
We had to have a mail box, although this won’t hold too much, it’s perfect for our shop and really cute!

Cute but NOT for outdoor use
Review of antiqued post box from the BIG FORTUNE Store If you're absolutely determined to use this outside, it would need to be in a very sheltered area. The mail flap and door do not fit tightly. Mine had some pinpoint gaps on the back where the top of the back did not quite meet the edges. Both issues don't matter if you're using this as a decoration, but this thing is absolutely not weathertight. The metal is a reasonable thickness so it's a fairly sturdy item. Also, there is only one hole to hang it from on the back. This would blow around in any wind. As a decoration, it's very cute. I am using this inside as a sort of inbox for some of my papers. It works very well for that purpose, but understand that the slot is only 6" wide so if you want to put standard printer sheets in this, they would need to be folded. The only thing that really annoys me is that the hanger on the back sticks out and when I go to open or close the door, the whole mailbox rotates from side to side. I want to see if I can get some think rubber spacers to put behind it to preserve the wall and to keep it from moving around so much. I am including some photos. It's a very rustic design. The flap is a bit uneven and the hole under the flap is definitely askew. I am including a photo of the catch with a pen on it for size comparison. Theoretically, you might be able to lock the box closed, but the lock would probably clash with the style and if you found one that would work, it would have to have a tiny little loop on top to fit through the hole.
