*Update*Owing to circumstances I won't bore you with, I've recently found out that it's nearly impossible to get this to talk to Linux Mint 18.3, but works fine with the appalling horror that is W*****s 10. Dunno about Mac.***UPDATE WITHIN AN UPDATE***I've no idea how, but I somehow appear to have got this to mount on Linux, so can now merrily drag and drop to my heart's content.Linux is confusing...***UPDATE WITHIN AN UPDATE ENDS****Update ends*I've had this for a few days, and I feel that this deserves a more in-depth review.In order to use this, first you must put some files on it. This was a process that was easy enough, as it just shows as removable storage (F-Drive) once connected by USB. From there it was a matter of moments to copy folders across (file transfer rate was about 4mbps, might be my ancient decrepit laptop more than anything) and away you go.The device is tiny, but feels solidly enough constructed, and once switched on the control buttons on the front are spaced far enough apart that even my burst sausage fingers have no problem using them.The menus are easy enough to navigate; the method by which you organise your music and other files will be up to you, which will then obviously dictate how you use this device. I had put all my files into folders on my laptop and transferred those across. This means that I simply have the one sub-menu to navigate for choosing different albums.And so to playing music and this is where this device really shines. I tried a number of different musical styles and also sourced from a number of different formats, but all converted to FLAC for playback. These were:Santana IV - SantanaPremiata Forneria Marconi - Jet LagVivaldi - Four Seasons - Neville Marriner and The Academy of St Martin in the FieldsJohn Dowland - Dances - Julian BreamSaturday Night - Whigfield.I also used my studio headphones for comparison with what was supplied.Firstly, the headphones I was expecting to be a mere box-filler along the lines of something you might get from Poundland, but the 'phones supplied were astonishingly good. I'd prefer bullet-type ones, which I'll be getting in due course, but having compared different albums across both headphones and both laptop and MP3 player, I'd not be too disappointed if the MP3 player headphones were the only ones I'd got to use.In addition there is a number of pre-set equalisation modes plus (and this is a big plus for me) a custom 5-band EQ setting. All of this combined to showcase this devices' forte, which is it's volume. The dial goes up to 31, but I can't realistically set it past 20 as it gets a bit uncomfortably loud. As the quality of the FLAC playback was indistinguishable from the source file from the laptop I have no complaints there, either.I could criticise the radio, but as I live in the middle of nowhere the reception issues are all my doing rather than the device itself, but it does pick up some good clear signals, mainly for stations I don't want to listen to. I did manage to get a Norwegian station and I'm not even in Norway. Bonus!I haven't tried the e-book reader, and quite frankly anyone who purchases this device with that criterion at the top of their list needs a good talking to.I've run this for about four hours total so far and the battery icon hasn't moved at all as far as I can tell from having charged it initially so I expect 20 hours playback isn't an entirely fanciful claim.In summary, I'd say that this device is far better than I'd hope it would be, and if you're considering spending £15 on a plasticky bit of summat with rubbery buttons, then do yourself a favour and spend a bit more (£5) wisely on this instead.

it just wont turn on anymore, the return window closed on the 29th may 2018 and it stopped working 5th June 2018. i have no way to contact the seller for a replacement. i really liked the product and it worked great wish i could give it 5 stars.

This is a surprisingly robust feeling player for the price. The body has enough weight to it to be metal or at the very least a dense plastic. It does feel really solid.It comes complete with a (fairly cheap) set of earphones and a charger cable. I'll be using better quality ear/headphones while listening to this.The device itself has 3 physical buttons and some touch buttons. The physical buttons are a power button (long press) which also functions as a lock/unlock button (short press while in use) and 2 volume buttons.The touch buttons are for screen navigation purposes. While playing music the screen will turn off after a short period and from there on it is locked except for the volume buttons. this will save inadvertently hitting controls while it is sitting in your pocket. Pressing the power button briefly will wake the screen.One minor point is that it does not seem to play the tracks in album order. I did find though that changing to folder view you can view your files in the correct order (as long as your files are named correctly). Alternatively you can create playlists.Once you are familiar with it, navigation is straight forward though it's not always quick to pause the music if for instance someone talks to you. It can take a few clicks to be able to do that. I've found it much easier to long press on the power button to turn it off. The music will resume when you turn back on again so it's a kind of a pause button.Loading music is simply achieved by plugging into your PC/laptop and copying the music folders you want to it's root directory.There is also an FM radio feature. As usual you'll need headphones in to act as the antenna. You can auto-tune to set up the station presets and the stations that it found, by and large, come through very clearly. There is a record function so you can record the radio! Whilst recording it will give you a count down so you know how much recording time you have left in the memory.There's also an ebook facility.Lastly of course there's the voice record function. I use a lapel type mic which is plugged in to the device when I can then record my audio then dub it into any video I'm making.It only has 8gb memory and for music nowadays that's not a great amount but it also has a slot for a micro SD card.The player supports all the main audio formats.An MP3 player with full colour display for under 15 pounds is amazing. I mainly wanted this as a voice recorder for Vlogging but the fact it's a very capable MP3 player is something I'll be taking advantage of. Very impressive for the price.

The 8 GB MP3 Player came in a sealed box. The mp3 player is lightweigh. It is very easy to transfer music onto. You can expand the size of the memory. Only thing I didn't like it doesn't pick up FM radio clearly. I use this whenever I go running since its light weight and it's cheap enough that I don't care if it falls. Overall, good product.

This has served me well, 5 days a week for 4 years. Battery life still very good, plays mp3s of various formats cbr/vbr. Straightforward for an mp3 player.

Bought as a gift. Came in with a really small, plain and not attractive packaging. After open, it was surprisingly very good and has an attractive outlook. It’s a very presentable gift.Like the built in 8gb memory storage space. Saved another cost of buying an additional SD card. And the FM radio function is a bonus. Very good quality product.

I was looking for an mp3 player with radio, came across this gadget,if you have a certain budget this will not disappoint, easy to navigator the menu,e manual,comes with headphones, USB cable,easy to down load you're tunes,sounds brilliant, and is loud,highly recommended this unit..update,tried to download more tunes,the unit is saying error, PC does not recognise the unit.error from the unit.

I wasn't expecing too much for the price, but I was taken aback by the amazing quality. Very well designed and it feels quality to hold. I bought this as a gift that was received very well and I will likely buy myself one very soon.

Ich hatte mir diesen MP§ Player als Ersatz gekauft, falls meiner mal kaputt geht, nun nach 5 Jahren wollte ich ihn endlich benutzen und musste festsetllen, dass er nicht angeht und sich auch nicht aufladen lässt...Nun weiß ich natürlich nicht, ob er schon von Anfang an nicht ging oder erst nach den Jahren des nicht benutzens.Ich gebe 2 Sterne, da er schön aussieht

Das Gerät macht einen stabilen Eindruck.Die mitgelieferten Kopfhörer besitzen einen Schaumstoffschutz und haben einen recht guten Klang.Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet.Klar ist er nicht so satt wie bei hochwertigen Kopfhörern, aber okay.Mit guten Ohrhörern ist der Sound super.Es gibt außerdem die Möglichkeit, den Sound mittels eines Equalizers nach eigenen Wünschen umzustellen.Das Bedienen ist absolut einfach und selbsterklärend.Eine Anleitung in verschiedenen Sprachen ist dabei.Auch häufige Fehler und deren Behebung werden dort behandelt.Der Ein-/Ausschalter befindet sich links am Gerät.Die Lautstärke wird rechts eingestellt.Das Display ist ca. 2,5 x 3,5 cm groß, also ausreichend.Sofort nach dem Anstecken des Players an den PC wird er erkannt und die Lieder können einfach auf den Player kopiert werden.Auch Ebooks kann er abspielen.Es gibt die Möglichkeit Radio zu hören und seine Lieblingssender einzuspeichern.Selbst Aufnahmen wären möglich, werde ich aber wohl nie brauchen.Der Speicherplatz von 16 GB ist ausreichend, es kann jedoch noch mit einer Mirco-SD aufgerüstet werden.

Es ist unglaublich was ich mit den MP3-Player Downgrades so erlebe!Alleine, wenn man die Rezensionen dazu liest und hinterher die Geräte in der Hand hat! Da treffen Welten aufeinander. Zum einem, weil viele Nutzer nix Besseres kennen und zum Anderen, weil jede Meinung und Empfindung, gerade im Breich Sound, so extrem subjektiv ist!Angenommen dies wäre mein erster M3-Player, bekäme er 5 Sterne.Real würde ich ihm 3 Sterne geben - bezogen auf meine Erwartungen und Erfahrungen.In Bezug auf die noch etwas billigeren Modelle, bekäme er 4 Sterne.Ich habe nun Zeitgleich noch den zweitbilligsten  AGPTEK A01, Champagner  Player zum Vergleich hier und muß sagen, dieser KAYOWINE wirkt äußerst stabil und wertig. Der ganze Player ist von der Verarbeitung und dem Material das Beste was ich je in der Hand hatte. Der ist quasi ein Metallriegel - gegossen in einem Block! Dazu noch die Aufrüstbarkeit mit zig Gigabeit, die kaum jemand ausreizen kann. Negativ hier: der Track-vor-Button ist nach Abschaltung in den Bildschirmschonder nicht aktiv, man muß ihn erst über den Hardwarebutton (An/Aus) ''Aufwecken'' reaktivieren. Und bei Nutzung einer SD-Karte greift die Zufallswiedergabe nicht für den gesamten Speicher. Entweder intern ODER micro-SD. Das ist sehr ärgerlich. Der Klang ist minimal mittiger (also etwas weniger Höhen) als beim AGPTEK, dafür merkt er sich aber immer die letzte Stelle und die Zufallswiedergabe.Übrigens ist die Software fast identisch mit der des AGPTEK. Auch die Materialien der Verpackung und die beiliegenden Kopfhörer sind identisch. Ich vermute hier entweder das selbe Werk in China oder sogar den selben Hersteller unter verschiedenen Namen.Warum gebe ich 5 Sterne? Weil die Meisten nur 5 oder 1 Stern-Rezensionen lesen und er diese für den Preis verdient hat. Aber nur für Preis/Leistung. Mein Favorit ist nun der AGPTEK, wegen dem etwas besseren Klang. Super Player, spielt alle ab, fühlt sich gut an in der Hand, sehr gute Bedienung. Optisch gute Verarbeitung. Gute Ordner Struktur.Aber: die meisten Micro-usb Kabel funktionieren nicht zum Daten übertragen.Achtung: ich habe nach 9 Monaten zum Laden einmal das Micro-usb Kabel von meinem Handy benutzt jetzt ist der Player kaputt. Nichts geht mehr. Der Geht garnicht mehr an.Weil mir der Player gefallen hat, habe ich ihn mir nochmal gekauft, sofort versucht mit einem anderen Kabel zu laden und direkt kaputt, daher bin ich mir sicher, dass nur das mitgelieferte Kabel benutzt werden sollte.

Beim ersten Einschaltversuch gleich der 1. Schreck, player lässt sich trotz x-Versuche mit allen möglichen Drückzeiten nicht einschalten!! Erst nach ca. 15 min Anschluss am USB-Stecker des PCs lässt sich der player nach dem 5. Versuch überhaupt einschalten und lädt dann den Akku deutlich über 1 Stunde! Der Akku war anscheinend ziemlich wenn nicht sogar ganz leer. Gerät lief dann zu Testzwecken ca. 1 Stunde. Der Klang ist auch mit gutem Fremdfirmenkopfhörer nicht übermäßig so berauschend wie dies manche hier berichten. Am nächsten Tag + folgenden ließ sich der player dann überhaupt nicht mehr einschalten, auch nicht am USB-Stecker des PCs!! Gerät geht zurück.Fazit meines Ehemanns (Elektroing., mit 35 Jahren Berufserfahrung in der Entwicklung von elektronischen Steuergeräten): Chinesenmurks in schönem Gehäuse!! (hätte besser auf ihn hören sollen) Den neueren anderen 1 Sterne-Rezessionen zu folge liegt hier bei der neuen Lieferung (war zwischenzeitlich ausverkauft) anscheinend ein generelles Problem vor, denn diese berichten von gleichen oder ähnlichen Problemen. Mein Mann äußerte auch deutliche Bedenken bezüglich der Qualität des Akkus, wenn dieser im Anlieferungszustand schon so tief entladen ist, das ist kein gutes Zeichen. Ein weiteres Problem an rein chinesischen Elektrogeräten ist, das diese meist chinesische elektrische und elektronische Bauteile verbauen, die qualitativ mit zu den schlechtesten weltweit gehören. BMW z.B. verwendet aus Qualitätsgründen prinzipiell keine chinesischen elektrische und elektronische Bauteile in seinen Steuergeräten. Es verwundert uns immer wieder wie es die Festlandchinesen schaffen, trotz der nun leidlich bekannten schlechten Qualität ihrer Produkte, diese massenweise immer wieder an den Mann bzw. die Frau zu bringen! Für uns war dies das 1. chinesische el. Gerät nach 10 Jahren Abstinenz und wird das letzte für die nächsten 10 Jahre sein.Es ist ein echtes Drama für die Kunden dass bei amazon und auch weitgehend am Markt fast keine player mehr zu finden ist der nicht in China hergestellt ist! Auch bei anderen Elektrogeräten China, China, China! Wir haben fast ausschließlich schlechte Erfahrungen mit chinesischen Geräten gemacht (sind zum Glück nicht viele, da mein Mann meist massiv intervenierte). Mir reicht es nun auch endgültig mit diesem Chinesenmurks !!! Wenn man wie so oft liest, dass viele Geräte offensichtlich schon mangelhaft oder sogar defekt die Fabrik verlassen und anscheinend gar nicht auf Funktion geprüft werden, dann ist das eine Unverschämtheit gegenüber dem Kunden! Nach Ansicht meines Manns gibt es weltweit kein Land von größerer industrieller Bedeutung das im Schnitt derart minderwertige Geräte herstellt!! Amazon ist randvoll mit Chinesengeräten, der Chinesenanteil ist für unseren Geschmack entschieden zu hoch! Frage an amazon: Warum nicht mehr Geräte aus „ Mittelklasse“-Industrieländern wie Südkorea, Taiwan, die im Schnitt qualitativ deutlich höherwertige Produkte herstellen und preislich vertretbar sind? Viele sind einfach nicht bereit die überteuerten Preise von apple oder Sony zu bezahlen. Wollen Sie aus amazon wirklich endgültig einen Chinesenramschladen machen?? Warum fahren die Festlandchinesen wohl nach Taiwan und decken sich dort mit taiwanischen Geräten ein?Sehr überarbeitungsbedürftig ist die amazon-Suchanzeige "beste Kundenbewertung" für mp3-player! Die Anzeige "beste Ergebnisse" ist leider nicht nach den besten Kundenbewertungen sortiert und somit auch nicht sonderlich hilfreich!
