Great Mount for Recording
I had tried a different mount set and this one was better. Great for recording.

Cool features--the set up is a bit of a hurdle
Honestly, it's not that hard to set up... which is good because the instructions are pretty bad. They try to be good--they label all the parts (though the fact that the piece that connects the ring light to the arm is already attached to the light threw me for quite awhile, since they are shown separately in the instructions). But then they call things different names in the actual instructions. The piece that attaches the device to your table? It's called a 2-in-1 C Clamp in the What You Get section, but called the "upper base" in the installation instructions. The actual arm of the device is called a 360 Flexible Overhead Mount... until you get to the instructions and it's called "the bracket." Fortunately, once you get all the pieces out and stop worrying about setting it up, it's not difficult. And the fact that there are images in the instructions do help to compensate for the bad writing.I really like the ring light! After using this to take some pics of me using biometric ID for a work project... which aren't great, but I'm no hand model, I decided to set up the device behind my computer to see how much the ring light enhanced my already enhanced Zoom. It definitely made a difference! And even more of a difference when using horrible Teams video that values truth over beauty and makes me look 105 worry-filled years old.I've had this for quite awhile... but every time I looked at the instructions for setting it up a great 105 year old weariness came upon me and I never set it up. It's truly not hard--now that I've done it, I'm excited to start filming some art stuff. At the very least, I'll be using this for meetings with people who are inconsiderate enough to use Teams and still expect me to be on camera and paying attention to anything besides my appearance.

great mount
This is a versatile stand/mount that allows you to film from a variety of angles. It is perfect for the overhead down shot needed to demonstrate specific skills, like cooking. Make sure your work setting has a surface overhang or lip where you can attach the clamp mount.

A 10" Ring Light To Get All Kinds Of Creative Work Done-- But First, A Few Thoughts. ;o)
Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)Right out of the gate, this LILANZo 10" Ring Light kit has most of what you need to get started for creative content, photos, zoom sessions and more.I will say that I'm used to cantilever lights in all forms, with the usual metal clamp you twist to hold these lights to a table top. While this particular 10" ring light performs well, I did find the clamp base a bit odd. Not to say, the instruction manual was a tad confusing to assemble this item. I used a bit of intuition and figured out that the clamp parts were actually mislabeled as 'clop' handle (!) which may throw several people off at first. In addition, this is not your usual metal clamp style that you twist the bottom lever to tighten the metal clamp-- via a round disc/plate to the underside of your desktop. Instead, you rotate this all-plastic tubular 'post' by means of twisting a short plastic 'rod' to tighten the base of the lamp in place. Sounds confusing? That's exactly what I experienced myself. I'm even having problems trying to illustrate this methodology to you! Sorry for possible incorrect words! ;o)Once I got the lamp base set up, the rest of the process is relatively easy to figure out. I found that the cantilever-style arms that are very adjustable, with great knobs for securing the height or placement you want. The light itself is on a flexible arm of its own, allowing you to position it in any direction you wish, which is terrific for zoom meetings and creative content. As a photographer and teacher, I noticed with their ball head and phone clamp placement on the arm itself, you need to be aware of how you place your phone/camera or light source to eliminate shadows of your hands, while photographing your items directly below. (My other ring light units have the phone/camera anchored within the ring light itself on a bracket. To better resolve the shadow issue, those light kits have a Bluetooth remote to operate the camera.)You'll find that there is a control module on a nice, long, almost 6 ft USB-A power cable, to adjust your color temperature and brightness levels of the ring light. All of the settings or adjustments, work quite well. The company has thoughtfully provided several cord clips and cable wraps to keep the power cable from getting entangled with you (or other objects). Kindly be aware, you need to provide your own power adapter. Lastly, the lamp kit does come nicely packed in foam to protect all of its parts. In summary, I found this light kit quite useful, once you get past setting up the 'interesting' multi-pronged base. This multi-purpose base is helpful for unique angles you need to achieve that isn't possible with a standard cantilevered light source. My concern is that the base is of plastic-- that may crack over time or with too strong of a twist on the 'clamping rod' to adhere the base to any surface you wish. It's a creative design solution, but my preference lies with metallic materials for strength. I would still recommend this lamp, but do so with care in attachment to different surfaces, so this ring light base will last for you.Need I say more?Give this LILANZo 10" Ring Light for Video Recording and Live Streaming a try... I don't think you'll regret your purchase.**********************************************************Update:An opportunity to save wee bit of moolah!Right now, there's a 20% off coupon to make your purchase all the sweeter!***********************************************************Have a wonderful Fall Season! ;o)Cheerio and Best of Luck in all your endeavors! Don’t recommend
Worked ok for several months but the phone holder is poorly designed making it difficult to get it positioned exactly right. Now the USB part is getting loose and so it won’t stay plugged in all the way and flickers or looses power.
