These came in extremely handy after knee surgery. They get used all the time to assist with any thing that is too low to reach.

I bought this to pick up trash in an area of mangroves. It works incredibly well. I have the shorter (8' long) version of this as well, but kept finding flotsam and jetsam trash that was just out of reach. This solved the problem. While it is a little wobbly when extending it out horizontally, it works great if you can rest it on something midway. It also works great to snap things like plastic bags or garbage stuck up in trees. The pincers work great and while this will not lift terribly heavy objects, I had no problems retrieving floating beverage cans full of liquid. This has worked better than anything else we have tried to pick up trash from the boardwalk around the water here. A really useful tool at a very reasonable price. I also love that it is made of aluminum, so will not rust or degrade and is rigid, but relatively lightweight.

This commercial model works as advertised, and seems to be stronger than the Pro + model sold through Lowe's Home Improvement stores. I have owned four of these lower priced models, and all have eventually broken their handles. I hope this more expensive purchase will last longer.My major disappointment with this model is its apparent lack of any warranty.

I really like the longer handle and larger hand grip, both making is easier to pick up yard debris.

Dont waste your time on others. This ones the best one! Last one i had lasted 12 yrs with daily use. It was called arcoa then. So glad they still make it. My old one broke. More than half the movable handle broke off but still enough there to be usable but not as good. I might try to repair it.

Very long with strong grasper. Great for apple picking .
