Good Knife for a Good Price
I have many knives, from assisted open to fixed blade. I have a few hundred dollar knives, a few cheap ones that you can get in the hunting and outdoor section of Walmart. I have skinning knives, boot knives, novelty knives. About 60 or so in all. I have had two versions of this knife, one that has serrations and one that does not. My only complaint about both of them is that I wish they had the blades in something other than black, because the black coating, while durable, will not hold up against large amounts of wear or sharpening. I've had my serrated one for about 2 years now, and I don't enjoy sharpening serrations, so I bought the straight blade. I carried my straight blade on me for over a year, and only really sharpened it twice in that time of using it to cut twine, cardboard, paper, rope, and to poke things that I didn't want to touch with my hand. The assisted open on it never gave out or showed signs of wear, and the lock always worked well, though if someone was actively trying to open it, it would open through the lock. However, after a little over a year of service, I seem to have lost it somewhere that a month of searching can't find. So I'm returning to buy another one.In short: It's a good knife, durable, holds an edge pretty well. The only problem I've really had is with the black peeling.

I can't think of one bad thing to say about this purchase
I can't think of one bad thing to say about this purchase. Just as I suspected. A wonderful assisted open. Blade sharp enough to cut anything that I may need to quite quickly and easily. Sturdy and strong. I could not be more pleased with the timely delivery, the quality and appearance of the knife, and the Price is Right on, If having doubts, take a chance, order it. Treat yourself to a cool blade. If anything you can always give it as a gift. I know I am keeping mine. I had the red one(non tanto blade and worked just as good as day one years later. I have a couple of the larger ones , like the SWAT and just recently ordered the fourth generation magic assist. I just love them all. High quality, They are great knives for everyday use or collecting. I bought another assisted opening knife from a so called quality brand. Piece o junk. After reading how great the knives were. The smith and wessons. Fantastic Open fast and strong. Kershaw makes a very quality blade. But I like the style of the S and W a bit more. Just so you know. It is true about the color of the blue in these knives, It is not a bright blue, It is however very nicely done. If you look around the web you can find a more accurate pic.

Good pocket knife.

I like the knife but
The finish is really smooth and the knife can be hard to hold onto when pulling it from the pocket. It’s held up well though

MY FAVORITE KNIFE
By far, my favorite knife. I love that there is a lock on it for safety. It makes me feel better especially because once you unlock it and tug that grip, the blade snaps out so quickly. It is super handy, and SOOOOO SHARP. The grip is very comfortable, and the size of the knife is perfect. As I said, it's my favorite knife.

Super Fast Easy To Hold
This is one great knife. Very sturdy, handle fits the hand well. The assisted open is amazing - fast, sure, locks in place and no wobble in the locked blade. This knife is better than some I have paid much more for.

Amazing Knife
I buy most of my weapons from Blade Shop here on Amazon, and I will always have a S&W liner lock knife in my pocket. This one is a gift for a friend, but it is just as sharp as the Smith & Wesson Black Ops 3 w/Red Handle Tanto Blade that I recently received and I could not be happier. Short from stone or metal, this blade cuts anything you put in its path, with ease. I would recommend this line of knives to anyone that is looking for a well priced, razor sharp tactical folder. If you buy this, make sure that the seller is Blade Shop, as they are have rapid fast delivery, even if you go for the free shipping. I always get their items at least a week before I'm supposed to get them.
