Just awesome. Love at first play. Highly recommended.
So glad I bought it. Works amazingly. Some games work better on Android, some work better on JELOS, and honestly, I even often use the stock FW for tough games that require a lot of load/save states because I find the hotkeys easier. The device itself is well made and super cute. Good battery, great screen, classic membrane mush feel. Couldn't be happier for the very reasonable price. As others have said, back up your firmware and flash a better SD Card. Plus, you'll need to supply your own games unless you buy this thing from another source. I chose Amazon because of easy returns just in case and the games that came with my 353p are wanting. So I had to supply my own. NES, SNES, and PS1 really shine, while GB, GBC, GBA seem as good. N64 is notoriously difficult to emulate but it honestly plays almost perfectly here, especially on Android. Perfectionists will always squirm but I'm 43 and remember the old hardware not always running perfectly either so whatever. 3DO was a nice surprise. Works flawlessly. Haven't tried much DS, GG, Saturn, or Dreamcast but plenty of videos detail it.Can't believe this thing isn't higher rated. For those of you who are afraid of the learning curve, I installed JELOS myself by following online tutorials and had zero problems. I'm not that much of a computer guy, either. It's really not as hard as you're thinking. If anything, the biggest challenge is sourcing roms and even that's pretty easy, especially with all the tutorials out there. Plus, ETSY vendors.

Easy to add games!
If you are looking for a Gameboy feel, this is an excellent product. I have tried several emulators in this price range and this model is far superior. Adding games is very easy with a simple YouTube tutorial. I am not great with computers but I have added several games including pokemon white and white 2. Gameboy color is my all time favorite Christmas gift and this emulator is exactly what I needed to have that old feel again! I still have a Gameboy color but the convenience of this emulator is amazing. The battery is fantastic. Buy it already! You need it!

Great device except….
Awesome product, although a couple N 64 games didn’t work, everything else seems to be holding up!

Solid product from a good seller
This is the second device I've ordered from this particular seller. The first was an RG351V and I get the feeling somebody does at least give these units the once-over when shipping them out. I've never had a problem with either unit. The RG353P is a strange little beast. You have a choice of Android or Linux but not at the same time. I liked the updated (as of 6/22 according to the system info) Emuelec set up they shipped with it. The SD card was the usual strange assortment of Chinese and USA market games with no particular focus on any game genre in general and fairly sparse representation of anything I'd honestly heard much of for the most part. Some of the off-brand Chinese strip-poker Tetris clones where downright bizarre and worth the price of admission for that experience alone. Hilarious! That said, this little machine is fun and seems very solidly constructed. Aside from a little issue of the android PPSSPP menu being in Chinese everything worked out of the box. The screen seems less sharp than the RG351V despite them being nearly identical in dimensions. It is however a functional touchscreen (Android only, for now) so the tradeoff is likely worth the loss. Still a good bright and crisp 640X480 screen on this machine. Being able to rotate the device for vertical arcade games is a neat plus too. Solid comfortable controls. PSP now plays like a dream since I've changed the language option over to English.

Great emulator
I had a long trip to India recently and wanted something handheld to distract me, so I bought one of these for my 36 hour trip. I played everything under the sun from N64 to PSP. I would say that the PSP games are highest quality and resolution on the device so I do recommend those games. It was also very easy to transfer ROMs from archive.org as they have thousands of games. Just simply copy and paste them to your card in the correct directory and it will read them just fine. I've got mario kart, waverace and many more that take me right back to the 90s. Highly recommended! Battery life is great, screen is great, super fun!

It's all right, not quite worth the price IMO
Things I would have wanted to know before I bought this:1-The controls aren't great. The D-pad isn't very precise, I'll be pushing down and the movement will slide left/right. The thumb sticks are recessed into the device, which makes it easy to carry but not easy to use. The top buttons, especially R2/L2 are hard to reach without pressing R1/L1.2-The controls aren't pleasant to use. Despite my complaints, the controls aren't terrible and they do work. But they aren't nice to use, especially when using all types (D-pad, thumbs sticks, buttons top and front). Everything is so close together. Trying to play Medal of Honor for PS1 just wasn't fun.3-Some, quite a few, of the games have Japanese text. I didn't try any new games, just the ones I've played before. If I hadn't played them in the past, I would have a hard time figuring out what to do with no instructions in English. A good incentive to add your own games.4-No Mario games and no Tetris. No Atari games, but maybe that's too retro...5-There are a lot of games and it seems like a lot of them would be popular. I'm old so I only wanted a few, but there are many games available.6-The graphics and sound are good. The games look like what I remember.7-Battery life is good.I don't regret buying it, but maybe I would have gotten a different model. The controls are the worse thing for me. Overall I'm happy enough with it.Update: The seller reached out to me regarding an issue and offered to take care of it, but did not fulfill their commitment.

Bringing back the good ol days!
This little gadget is wild! It comes in a nice clean package, has an instruction manual, and comes with a screen protector. It comes pre loaded with thousands of classics from multiple different devices. If for some reason a game you want isn't on there, its super easy to download and install! I've been playing ocarina of time and feel like im a kid again! Super fun if youre looking to play some classics.
