Tried the pin for the first time today on my Craftsman mower. I needed a full 4 1/4 inch pin and this was listed at 4 1/4. But it's not! See photos. It's about 4 1/16 inch to where the diameter of the pin begins to round off. Full length if you count the concave end is 4 1/8 inch. Since the pin did not go below the lower hole it would get pushed up because of the rounded tip. Eventually, it would work its way up past the magnetic grip then just pop out. It's a grand idea, but it needs to be longer, or at least as long as what the product description states.

I tow two different items behind a lawn tractor. This makes it so so much easier to switch. I have now used it several times. It is absolutely perfect. As a purist from the engineering side, I would prefer a larger diameter mating surface to keep it more perfectly vertical when it use, but 99.9% of folks would not care or notice.Simply brilliant. DO measure your pin diameter! 3/8 or 1/2"?
