Good as your first pair.
I bought thise mainly to practice on as my first pair of roller skates ever. It doesnt have any cushions inside/ very thin leather-like material.ill hust wear heavy socks with it. Im usually size 8(40-39) and the skates (size 8) were a bit large on me/ but perfect with thick socks. If you want your exact size i advise you to go - size smaller.

Size might be weird.
Bought this pair for my GF even after seeing the few complaints. She wears a size 8.5 as a first time skater I researched and they said order if possible a .5 bigger. So we ordered a 9. She has over a full Inch and a half of room before the end of the shoe. We had to stuff the end with a sock to try them on.

Great skates for the cost but had a problem with one of the stoppers falling off. I believe it was cross threaded and now it wont go back in. Also I can't figure out how to replace this part!

Love them!
These skates are so great this is the second pair I've purchased. The only recommendation I have is to buy a good set of wheels (kryptonics 65mm 78a- soft) for outdoor skating, and a set of harder wheels for indoor skating. The durometer of the wheel is the hardness. 78 is soft, higher numbers like 88-95-101 are hard and meant for indoor, wood, or polished concrete. I would recommend new bearings for them too. Amazon sells a great set called Bronson's G3 for 20.00 a set - buy two sets for quad skates! These break in great. I wear a size 7 and comfortably fit both the size 6 and size 5 in these. I bought this set in 5 because the leather relaxes after a few months. Hope you enjoy your new skates!

Love these! Brings me back to the 80's. They run a size big, even with tick socks, and super fast, which is scary since I haven't been on skates in more than 30 years
