Enjoyed this read although not the best Reacher
The plot infact 3 rather confusing plots for a large part of the book. More unreasonable than usual but I'm fond of Reacher and will probably read ir again next year

Brutal
Typical Jack reacher book, full of suspense and fighting.

It was definitely not unputdownable
I've been a Lee Child / Reacher fan for I don't know how long but I'm going to be honest, I found this one hard going. It did not follow the usual MO for Reacher's travails and was too choppy from one scene to another, one character to another. Some character build ups were far too long for the denoument, some far too involved for their part in the story. The start followed classic Reacher lines, but from there it descended into a 'This happens, then this happens, then this happens, then the end'. Too much emphasis was given to journey with too little detail of the journey, there was practically no focus on the reasoning behind the massive trek from one piece of action to the next, there was no suspenseful interludes or moments of doubt other than one that was far too short and too McGuyver esque to be relevant to Reacher. The interweaving of the three different story arcs was pretty basic and was lacking any real depth other than the shared objective. Some of the back story was obviously missing from the side characters otherwise the 'twist' wouldn't have been one, and it showed. I'd have much preferred a much slower and more considered approach to the entire story, focussing, as in the past, on the arrival, the fatal character flaws of the antagonists, a more subtle reveal of the real intentions behind the Minerva Corporation and just generally a story more redolent of how a drifter like Reacher would have approached it.The timeline was too contrived and too fast paced. The trip through cell block C was completely pointless and clunky way to tie off a number of obvious loose ends..... It was all very un Reacher like and, not to put too fine a point on it, written for TV.A sad indictment of how the lure of Prime time TV money leads an exceptional author down a screen play route for what would otherwise have been an excellent premise for a Reacher novel. What happened to the cop? how did it blow up in the media? How did Reacher part ways with Sam Roth's widow? What about the daughter? Not unputdownable. Readable, but it took me three days, not one sitting as normal. I read the Reacher books over and over as they are normally so rich in detail and enjoyable, but not this one. No Plan B? No, No Plan A either. It was rushed.

Typical jack Reacher good and exciting
Reacher at his best, had you guessing what was coming next, but all good. Had a problem putting the book to one side. But I could say that of all the Reacher books I have read. I am still looking for ones that I haven’t read.

More of the same.
Yes, more of the same but that’s why these novels appeal to their readers. This one is probably a tad better than the other jointly written books although nothing really compares to some of the earlier classics. A good deal of gratuitous violence, from Reacher and others, especially towards to end but that’s what we want isn’t it . . . ?

Not great, but it's Reacher...
The books are not the same since Lee Child gave up wri them. The writing is much worse, the plots less interesting and the characters more shallow. But it's a fix for Reacher addicts... Maybe they"ll get better?

It is Reacher ! End !
What’s to review, it is Lee Child an ex Brit that writes in a way you don’t want to leave the book.!

No plan B by Lee Childs.
I have started reading this book and is just as good as the other books by this author. Great read.

No Plan B
Tendo lido todos os romances de Reacher, este foi o mais decepcionante.

Vintage Reacher
Why is Reacher always getting hassled? By the bad guys, by the cops, by circumstances beyond his control? Because he’s Reacher. Trouble is not only a constant; it seeks him out. When Jack witnesses a murder, he has no choice. He gets involved. And this murder defies probability. Another witness swears the woman committed suicide. A fine upstanding citizen, and a well-respected one at that. Whose word will they believe? So, the cops, except for one, believe it was a suicide. Reacher, not one to allow a crime to go unsolved, decides to investigate. Information leads him from Colorado to Mississippi. To a prison. Of course. What Reacher finds is a bunch of dark secrets, creepy criminals, and that it's impossible to escape a maximum-security prison. No Plan B is vintage Reacher, full of jerks feeling pain, a damsel who is helpful not one in distress, and a grab-bag mixture of twists and turns. Oh yes, and the world’s most traveled toothbrush. Grab a beverage and jump in.

Very good reading but paperback with defective binding
Very good reading, like every single Jack Reacher novel. The paperback I received has a defective binding, when I opened the book the 1st time, the pages separated from the binding, like they're wasn't enough glue.If this happens to you, don't wait, you only have 30 days to get a refund or an exchange (I didn't open the book on reception, and now it's been 32 days - so too late!)
