This thing is amazing
This thing is amazing. When I ordered this it had no reviews and I was honestly not expecting it to work but didn't care because it was cheap. I had been searching on Amazon for hours for a hand crank radio that was cheap and I finally just bought this and then another more expensive one from Kaito. I remember I was with my friend when I opened it and we just didn't understand how something that I thought wouldn't work was not only working but was better than the more expensive radio I had bought. The hand crank generates power in the device IMMEDIETLY. I played with it for like 20 minutes, charging my smart phone on it, cranking the hand crank, using the flash light... it was just really cool. My Kaito radio ended up not working unless batteries were in it (the handcrank feature is what I wanted in the first place), but Amazon wouldn't let me return it. So annoying. But at least I found this gem. I will definitely buy more, I put them in my emergency kits. My ONE note is that I wish the dial was a turn dial so I could get more radio stations... but for the price this is amazing. Like really. How did they do this? Lol

Everything Worked, IPhone Charger not Supported
Box arrived slightly crushed shipped inside another box that was fine. Flashlight worked immediately without any cranking. The Siren worked. The Radio worked. Problem: The USB cord that it came with doesn’t fit iPhones. I tried to charge my iPhone (using my Apple approved cable) and an error came up “This accessory may not be supported” I cranked the handle for awhile and the error continued to pop up and failed to charge my iPhone. So, if your buying this for emergencies and want to use all the features except the iPhone charger this is a great product. The crank handle moves smoothly. The product seems sturdy but I think it would crack and possibly malfunction if you dropped it on cement in the basement during an emergency.

Good quality sound, light, and power
I'm extremely pleased with these petite units. I purchased them for our 'go bags' as we live in an area prone to flooding and wild fires, and I'm happy I purchased them. The radio quality is clear, tuning is easy, and the hand crank is a nice option to run these guys without a wall outlet. The hand crank is easy to turn and does a reasonable job powering the item. The cables are a little outdated, and I needed to add a separate iPad, USB-C, and Samsung Micro-B cable to each kit. Keep that in mind if you need a special cable to charge to buy it separately. I had most of these cables already. The siren feature is a nice option and the flashlight is bright enough to navigate. Overall, I am likely to buy two more to keep in our cars for winter emergencies. I purchased an additional unit for my elderly parents go bags, as I know they don't have an emergency radio of any kind.

Good device but a bit of a faulty design
I bought this a few months ago. When it first arrived I got it out I tested it and checked out all the functions. Then I put it in with my camping gear. Now I'm camping and the first time I wound it up the metal pin that holds the handle on came out on the first turn. I tried to put it back in and that's when I noticed there was just a spot of glue on one side and I guess that's what had been holding it in prior? since it's been months I'm sure there's no return for this and I will probably just find a way to fix it myself but I want to let anyone know it's a great device but it has a weak design in that one aspect

Seems to work just fine. I bought this to put in a bug out bag so it won't really see much use unless I use the bag. I have tested it and all the features do work. The only issue I had is with the knobs for the radio part. It is very difficult to select radio stations because the knobs don't give much range of motion. You will skip a lot of stations because you just can't hit that sweet spot on the knob to find it.All in all this seems to be a good product. I may bring it with camping this year to test it out more fully.

Unfortunately on certain devices you have to have their charger or it wont charge. That is the problem I found with my old TOMTOM when I tried to charge it on this. I was not really surprised that happened though. Just be aware it may not charge what you are counting on it for. Radio worked well and the flash light. I left it with someone to add to their hurricane prep box in Puerto Rico.

This is precisely what I was after for the emergency kit I put together, a crank flashlight with a USB out port that could charge other items. I opened the package and the batteries were already charged. I tried all the functions briefly and they seemed to work. The "siren" was not very loud, but that wasn't really what I needed anyway. The crank took a little bit of elbow grease, but that is not much of surprise or problem. An easier crank might have been flimsy.

Bought this thinking it would be a good item to keep in the car and or the camper. The radio works good. The flashlight works good, siren is fine. It does recharge in sunlight. But - the only way it recharges a cell phone is by cranking and it takes forver. Fully charged, you would think that it would serve as a power bank. It doesn't.
