No Actual Speakers
No actual audio - no speakers or anything. Was going to buy the same product but cheaper with no speakers, but thought why go cheap if I will keep it for a while. Turns out it doesn't have speakers, and I have just bought the same model but 70 odd pounds more expensive.

No format picture
Can’t watch films on this tv, picture format is greyed out so film is a strip across the middle. Been on phone to Philips but they can’t fix the problem, never had a tv in my life where you can’t change picture format. Waste of money!

what are you watching
I recently purchased the HP M27fwa 27-inch FHD IPS LED Backlit Monitor with Audio in white color, and I have mixed feelings about it. Let's dive into the details. One of the aspects that disappointed me about this monitor is the button placement. The buttons are located under the screen, which makes them a bit inconvenient to access. I would have preferred if they were placed on the front face of the monitor for easier navigation and adjustment. Additionally, I found that the sound button was not readily accessible, which can be frustrating if you frequently need to adjust the audio settings. On the positive side, the video quality of this monitor is truly outstanding. The FHD IPS display provides vivid and sharp images, making it a pleasure to watch movies and videos. The wide screen enhances the viewing experience, offering a spacious and immersive display that brings content to life. If you enjoy watching movies or playing visually stunning games, this monitor definitely delivers on that front.Overall, despite its button placement and accessibility issues, I consider the HP M27fwa 27-inch FHD IPS LED Backlit Monitor with Audio in white color to be a great buy, primarily due to its exceptional video quality. If you can overlook the button placement inconveniences, this monitor has the potential to provide an enjoyable viewing experience.

Smashing 5 stars
Wow!!! We are absolutely in love with this display. We use it in our family room (on a coffee table) as a TV, and use a Chromecast (with remote/voice) to stream stuff to it. It is the *perfect* experience. This display is absolutely gorgeous in the room. The white finish is beautiful, and it's ultra thin, both in its display margins, and in the thickness of the display. It looks beautiful. The display quality is good when you're using it for a TV. It only has deep true blacks when you're viewing it dead-on, otherwise you can see the backlight, but -- it's totally fine. Don't expect perfection for a $200 device, but -- it's still pretty great. I wouldn't recommend it as a monitor, but mainly because HD resolution (1920x1080) isn't large enough for a display this big, IMO. But for a TV it's perfect. The chromecast works great with this TV. You can get it to control the volume (via a setting in the chromecast menus), and the chromecast is able to turn the TV both on and off via its power button, so everything works like a charm. The display was also packaged in a very eco-conscious way; the packaging was basically all folded cardboard.Overall, SUPER impressed, 10/10 would buy again.

It's a great monitor
My family got me this monitor as a present for Father's Day a couple of years ago. Recently, I wound up buying another one so I could have a dual monitor set up. These monitors have great color saturation, they are good looking, and they have a decent refresh rate. Word of warning they are quite large. And they do take up some real estate so make sure you're ready to have big time screens in front of you if you purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Great monitor but no volume control for speakers on the monitor
Great monitor but no volume control for speakers on the monitor itself, which is ridiculous. You have to control it through your computer's operating system. This is fine if you have a Windows machine as it's compatible. But it's not compatible with Apple OS. I had to find a 3rd party app to control the volume on my iMac. Not a deal-breaker, but I would have appreciated knowing this before purchasing. Otherwise a great monitor.

Patience Will Be Rewarded
This HP 27" monitor replaced a DELL 23" monitor and is a significant improvement. I will caution anyone from jumping to premature judgement, especially if using new video cables as well. Right out of the box, the image, especially text, is a little fuzzy and not as sharp as the DELL, but after couple days of usage the video quality improved significantly and became much better than the DELL. The refresh rate is more than adequate for watching movies. Electronic and mechanical components, and cables too, generally require some usage before they reach optimal performance. Especially appreciated are the rear stereo speakers which get their signals from the same HDMI cable that drives the display. One cable does it all and the sound is more than adequate for casual listening. The volume can be adjusted by using the MS Windows sound adjustment in the bottom status bar. I recommend this monitor for its excellent performance and reasonable cost.
