Small turtles only need apply
This dock is suitable for small turtles only despite the basking area size. I have a 4 year old yellow bellied slider and this item is no good for her. She tipped the whole thing over, submerged it, moved it to the other end of the tank and dismantled it within a few hours. The suction cups on the bottom of the posts are very flimsy, and the ramp isn't sturdy. However a few years ago when my turtle was little and light this would have been ideal. So not criticising the product, it just needs to be made clear that this is for very small turtles only.

Incredibly ddagerous and should be Shoreditch dock and Lee's mall
My turtle got one of his flippers trapped in one of the gaps of this so I was extremely annoyed and it cost me £270 in vets bills that the seller refused to compensate given I wasn't working at the time it was a very tough time. Don't buy this and avoid buying from Lee's mall.I've had a few different docks and platforms for my turtle but this is/was by far the most dangerous I've ever come across and the fact the seller refused to even help with the vets frees despite me proving the dock was to blame completely and had been assembled exactly as they instructions detailed.

Seems to be the best pier all-around, if you don't use rocks or DIY platforms.
Given that there are very few turtle piers to use in outdoor lakes, this one seems to be the best, if you don't use rocks or DIY platforms. The only downsides seem to be the plastic columns that allow the pier to be adjustable to the water level, they are a bit thin and tall and if you're not careful they can break when you try to remove the pier for cleaning, specially if you add the extensions for deeper lakes. The pier comes with 4 replacement columns but still it could be improved.

My pet loves it!
I actually bought this turtle pier for my snake to give her a bit more enrichment in her vivarium. It's easy to put together and might feel a little flimsy when it's not completely finished, but once everythings in place it's great. We just used some zip ties to keep the top in place seen as it's actually designed to float and my snake absolutely loves it so I'd like to think turtles will too😁

Not suitable for large heavy turtles
The pier looked good but one of our turtles is quite large so the small ramp does not hold her weight and she can't get on the pier
