Medieval Full Size Roman Lorica Segmentata Armour (Spartacus)

So this arrived today 12th ,It arrived in a very sorry box, bashed, crushed and generally worse the ware...There had been a delay by the Currier who after texting me to say they were going to deliver on the 7th then decided that they hadn't actually revived the parcel, ( I fear the lost it for a while and the state of the box confirmed this. )With trepidation I photographed the box fearing the worst. Would I find a crushed Lorica Segmentata.. Broken beyond repair...NOIt had been very well packaged inside and despite its rough handling was in fine condition.Be warned, there is some Assembly required, as it comes in 4 separate sections, and lacing it together was fun, but fiddly.There is a thin coating of oil on it and this will stain your best rug, hopefully the girlfriend wont notice. I bought this item as it’s displayed in the photo, you do not receive the same one it’s the cheapest thinnest metal possible, the brass hinges are not the same and are wafer thin like the lace hooks just bend with the slightest of ease just complete Rubbish do not buy!!! I have a proper one for the same price from the uk and it’s quality I only bought this as it says it adjusts in size larger as mine is quite tight now but even this is rubbish it doesn’t fit up to 52 , Please fo not buy !!!!

I think it is really nice metal work. However one of the leather straps broke right away. We will take it to the shoe repair shop in hope to get it fixed.Maybe we will try to get the other straps changed to a better leather as well.

Very cheap for what it is - looks great mounted with a helmet and a tunic. Bit of rust in places but I'm not complaining for 8.5 KG of 12 guage steel to have been sourced, worked on AND delivered to my UK address from INDIA for £70.03. Love these guys - they're amazing.

Had a few problems with couriers and customs but the seller was immensely helpful in getting the problems resolved. Item finally arrived well packaged and preserved with a good coating of oil.Excellent value for money and really looks the part.

very disappointed the photo used to advertise is not what we received the hinges and buckles were poor and not Roman pattern at all

La armadura es muy completa y se puede ajustar a distintas tallas. Es bastante ligera y más resistente que otras. Llegó muy pronto, en unos 10 días.

Read the rest of the reviews for this item and see their pictures. The complaints are on par with reality. Armor is actually pretty decent; I’m 6’0 and 200 lbs; the armor fit me very well. The only real complaint I have at all is the BLACK leather straps. Takes away from the whole thing, but otherwise a very nice costume item for the price, really sturdy and well put together. Note: will be drenched in oil on arrival; wipe down thoroughly.

An sich eine tolle reproduktion die auch gutes Metall aufweist nur leider sind die Scharniere teilweise verbogen oder durch die dünnen Metallstifte recht schwach verbunden sodass Zweifel aufkommen das die Scharniere das Gewicht der rüstung halten (die beiden Schulter parts halten den Torso an 3 Scharnieren pro Seite)Ein schaukampf wird diese rüstung schwer überleben, für einen ruhigen Abend mag es gehen.
