so, unrelated to the product itself, it arrived damaged due to the way it was delivered.besides that! It's a great starter kit, doesn't come with alot of decor but the foam backdrop looks very nice and the substrate is also very nice. I used it to mix with some other stuff I had to get the results I wanted but on its own it's nice as well. comes with just about anything a beginner pet owner would want, perfect for my little crestie. great value for money, quality, etc.

I have been an Exo Terra or Zoo Med fan for many, many years. I purchased a Zilla "bow front" terrarium at a local reptile expo in early 2020 and was really happy with it's quality and how most of the common gaps/openings in the other two brands were NOT an issue with the Zilla. I recently moved a day gecko out of that tank with the intent to move mourning geckos into it and the minimal amount of "gecko proofing" I had to do was so impressive.When I purchased my Agricolae pair, I knew I only wanted a Zilla for the same reasoning. The only gaps of concern were the side of the front door that has the hinge, but I slit a length of aquarium tubing and siliconed it on and it's fine. I also used a little packing tape on the opposite top corner just to be safe, as I ran out of silicone so couldn't run a bead inside to protect another really small gap. As soon as they grow a bit, we will not have any issues and can remove those safety measures. For the mourning geckos in the larger tank, they'll stay permanently.The tank itself is sturdy, well made and attractive. The extras it comes with are nice, but not necessary for every species. I like keeping extra supplies on hand, so definitely don't mind them. I was a bit nervous about using the halogen lamp included in such a small enclosure, especially looking at the temperatures it projects achieving with it's use. I ended up buying a nano LED fixture that I'll feel much safer using.My only complaint, is I wish the door were a bit longer. The vent area could be at least a couple inches lower, while still allowing for suitable amounts of substrate and providing a nicer/fuller view inside the habitat.

Durable cage. Easy for my 4 year old to get in and feed his pet. Lizard seems happy and plenty of room to grow

Overall a nice tank. Very light. Perfect for high-humidity needs of species. I'm using it as an insect vivarium.Pros: Lightweight; Sturdy; No real assembly required; Well-sealed bottom for holding water or substrate. Air flow is adequate; Can achieve up to 80-90% humidity; Good price.Cons: The top can be hard to open (the clips aren't very well-made); No way to run cables for say a water pump into the enclosure without leaving the back part of the top open if you use the included foam background; The front plastic "lock bar" or whatever it is called has to be removed completely and unceremoniously to open the front...Not a big deal but I figured it would just lift in place.I personally would buy something different when I need another bigger vivarium, but this 12x12x18 works for what I needed.Would recommend for similar needs.

Great overall cage for our crested gecko. I really like the front door access versus top access for easy feeding and cleaning. The bar that is a “lock” for the front door is a nice additional safety feature to keep my kids from opening and accessing the terrarium. quality and design of the backdrop are great. Thicker glass and not cheap feeling or cheap looking. Overall very pleased and will purchase again for any future reptiles.

We didn’t need half of the stuff for the crested gecko but it was the tank we wanted. Gives him space to climb. We are giving the extras away. Had a coupon book in the box too!

The media could not be loaded.  I was pleasingly surprised to find my tank came with a whole kit set up, everything from a food dish to coco fiber substrate and a thermometer. Lovely little tank to house baby frogs or tree frogs in. I embellished mine with some real plants and spray foam formations built up around natural driftwood. And a small $11 amazon water pump created a tiny waterfall for my frogs to enjoy. Tank worked out great for my idea and vision. Very pleased with it, despite my fears of it getting possibly busted in the transit, to my relief all was well. Would gladly purchase product again.

I really like the accessories it came with. The 25w halogen bulb throws a lot of heat. I did find it a little expensive for what you get which is why I didn’t give it more stars. This is a nice enclosure for a small amphibian or micro reptile and would be a lavish mansion for inverts. The background looks a little cheaply made and takes up unnecessary real estate. I like the way the enclosure is put together though, with the front opening doors and good ventilation.

I can’t figure out how to contact seller. If it wasn’t for the fact that the light stopped working 3 hours after use I would of given a 5 star as it’s a beautiful little kit...if the seller could contact me and arrange to rectify the problem that would be swell.

well after i bought this i met a gecko specialist, i was informed that this item was terrible for my pet, everything inside was horrible for her and the enclosure was small
