Having wrestled with a blocked toilet for 3 days, throwing everything down it both chemical and natural followed by very messy pumping with a standard bathroom plunger I was desperate to try something else. This device was in a price bracket to give it a go before re-mortgaging the house to pay for a plumber so I ordered one. Some of the reviews said it was difficult to get the PSI pumped up to max but I had no problem, although it does get tight towards the highest, you probably won't reach full compression but you won't need to. It's a bit fiddly to fit in the u-bend and I was worried that once in it would be stuck and would be a tough conversation with the inevitable plumber visit hut as long as you screw the end piece on tight you should be ok. Once in, fully charged, push the button and release the air bomb! It worked first time, possibly because of all the stuff I threw down previously but I was very pleased. It's been called to action a few times now, the last time needed 5 hits, you know when the blockage has gone because [BE AWARE] you get some splash back if it can't shift it, once you hit it without anything coming back it's clear. For the price this is actually well built with a metal compression chamber and it comes with 2 plug hole adapters as well as the toilet plug. I was surprised and pleased with the quality of the product and mostly that it does what it says it does!

Was on the verge of calling a plumber to unblock the toilet but this thing is a game changer!! After family flushing kitchen roll down it wasn’t shifting after 2 days of throwing down everything I could think of to unblock it I gave it 2 shots of this and now have a clear toilet

Works well on toilet but when unblocking plug hole the attachment broke, yes I’ve had it 8 months but only used the attachment once before

How anyone can get any pressure in this is beyond me. Tried for several hours to get this to pump over 1 bar unsuccessfully, absolutely exhausted and no further forward with block drain. Returned for refund and will call the professionals out.

It's a bit pricey, but I thought I'd give it a go as other plungers hadn't worked and I didn't want to pay so much for a plumber. Our loo had been blocked from kids accidentally putting down kitchen roll and floor wipes.You have to be fairly strong to pump up the tank - it works like a bike pump, and then you put it in the loo and pull a trigger. this releases the pressured air you just pumped. It worked the first time which was quite amazing as we have an old weird shaped toilet pipe.Someone could start a good business just unblocking loos and sinks with one of these and making a fortune!
