Grenoble Solid Oak Furniture Freestanding Granite Top Kitchen Island Unit by Oak Solution

Was really dissatisfied with the purchase of this item.To begin with, the delivery was farcical leading to wasted days off from work. The whole saga took over 3 weeks meaning I only took delivery a couple if days before Christmas. The customer service was also lacking.When taken out of the substantial amount of packaging I discovered that the item didn't match the photos. In fairness it was relatively well made, I had to knock one pin in with a hammer that was sticking out but indint see that as a problem. What was a big problem was that the granite top was of really poor quality. Two thirds of the granite were what you would expect based on the photos, a black top with the expected flecks of grey. However, the final third was more grey than black and to be honest it pretty much looks like it's stained and is far from the centre piece to the kitchen I was anticipating. It will need replacing.When I contacted the seller I was basically told it was tough luck. I requested a refund but was informed that would only be possible if I kept it in the original packaging, which at the time was taking up a room! I would also have to wait until the new year before the delivery company could cone and retrieve it. Obviously this was unworkable with Christmas a couple of days away with family due to visit.I would advise avoiding this company.
