Provides good privacy
We used it on our porch door. It was easy to cut to size and attach to the inside of the glass. It has been up for 2 months and is still stuck firm.

Not the Devil we thought it might be!
I watched videos, read reviews on here and it gives you a good insight as to go about it. I wasn’t putting it onto a normal height window, I wanted it to go onto the roof of my Conservatory. First off you do need to make sure the window is grease free (I used Antibacterial spray, the sort you use to do your hands) then I made up a spray bottle with half, half of water/washing up liquid. Remove the backing from the window film, spray the back that the backing film was on, that’s the bit that goes onto the glass. Next spray the window, this bit you will get wet and make sure it’s really covered in the liquid soap. To put the window film up and you will need two people, two high step ladders to put it up, it’s not too tricky, just keep flattening it out (I used an ikea widow cleaner I had) I did one at first and left it 24hrs to see if it stayed up on the roof, it did, (to my surprise) so I put the three up and I’ve got to say it looks absolutely great up and it’s given us the privacy we wanted!Time will tell if it stays up, I do have faith in the product, so fingers crossed as well…

Incredibly easy to fit, superb finish.
Bought to hide an ugly rear shop door window. The film is thick and high quality, with a fantastic print, and really does look realistic. It also lets in the light. It took approximately 10 minutes to read, fit, cut and finish the entire thing (and it was a BIG window!).I've never done this before, so when I say it was easy - I really do mean easy. The shiny plastic side gets removed (stick some tape to it to help you peel it off), you then spray it with soapy water (I used Fairy Liquid and water in a cheap spray bottle).Spray the surface you are going to apply it to with LOADS of soapy water - literally soak it (make sure the surface is spotlessly clean first).Place your film on the surface to be covered, slide into position and trim to fit. You can use the box it arrives in as a straight edge for large surfaces, and a ball point pen to mark where you want to cut if using a scissors like I did. (remember to cut just inside of the ball point pen mark)Use a cheap squeegee (I have a cheap window one from home bargains so I used that) to really speed up the bubble removing process.

Flipped it to create a vertical blind effect
My window was too wide to accommodate the pattern in a horizontal format, so I flipped it over and created a vertical blind effect which mirrors the rest of my house where I have vertical blinds installed.I found it surprisingly easy (as a useless DIY-novice) to apply and the instructions were straightforward. I used a pen knife to cut along the borders and used my shower squeegee to help create a line that I could follow.I had bought this because I previously had a net curtain in the bathroom and this caused me several problems with humidity in the room, because (1) the net covered the window and we'd suffer a lot of condensation and eventually mould on the window frame and (2) the water behind the net would never dry and drip onto the window ledge and (3) the bathroom always appeared much darker (being a north-facing room).I am pleased to say that this product has resolved all three problems. After a steamy shower, the windows dry much quicker now as there is more air flowing around the window. There is barely any condensation. That's a massive plus. Additionally the room is brighter. From a privacy perspective, during daylight you can't see from the outside. Pleased to say at night time from the outside, you can see a very slight shadow but you genuinely cannot see anything else nor can you tell what the person is doing. I asked my other half to pretend he's having a pee or wave from the inside and unless you're right close up to the window, you cannot make out what is happening. That was the main criteria for me - privacy and I am satisfied people can barely see anything from the outside even at night.Great product and glad I took the plunge after reading fellow reviews. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic and doesn’t look cheap
Recently moved into my first property (yay!). The main windows for the living room are facing the street and therefore, wanted some privacy. Came across this privacy film and decided to go with the design that looks like blinds. I really really really like them. Everyone that has seen them also likes them too. You cannot see through them from the inside or outside! However, you’ll be able to see from colouring that a light is on. Fantastic… even my mum wants some now 😂

Completely obscures and looks great on the door
Brilliant for completely obscuring the front door windows which is exactly what we wanted. Still let’s lots of light in but now people are not able to see inside either in the day or night time even when the hall light is on.A little tricky to install due to the fact that the top of my window is arched and you must have some patience when measuring and cutting to get it right. Once that was done it was easy to stick up.As an improvement I’d say it would be useful to have a paper grid backing in order to draw out where you need to cut as some other static cling products do. This being said I cannot fault the quality of this as it’s very thick compared to other static cling I’ve used in the past and the blinds pattern looks great on the door inside and out; like it’s a blind on the outside and a part of the glass pattern on the inside. Very happy with this product!
