Star Wars 6 The Black Series 40th Boba Fett Return of the Jedi

Great figure for display and has loads of add ons and very realistic recommend

I own a lot of Black series and this is honeslty one of the best i've got so far, fantastic detail and a great representation of one of the most epic star wars charactors.

The detail of this figure is pretty spot on, but unfortunately the trouble of this is the same as almost every Black Series figure, and that’s trying to get the weapons into the hands.Trying to get Boba’s weapon into his hands is like trying to remove Excalibur from the stone, except with every tug you make, Excalibur has the chance to snap in half. Unfortunately, that happened to me with Boba’s rifle. Trying to fit his gun into his hands is like one of the 12 Labours of Hercules. Because the plastic of the hands is so strong, and how weak the plastic of the gun is (weak because most parts of the gun are thin), it causes the gun to crumble to the pressure you’re giving it just to fit it in. If you try prying the fingers open before hand, you also risk the fingers snapping clean off. Figures shouldn’t need to have a risk factor for something so simple as putting a gun into its hands.There are some smaller problems as well, suck as how delicate some parts of Boba’s body seem to be. For example, his little shoulder cape seems to be incredibly flimsy and I wouldn’t be surprised if the smallest tug would break it off.The belt isn’t a fixed piece to Boba’s body, rather it’s a separate piece that is wrapped around its body. And it’s loose. So while you’re trying to mess around adding the fire to his flamethrower or, and I’m sorry for mentioning this again, the gun into his hands, this belt will move away from its place, meaning that every 10 seconds you’ll need to rearrange the belt back to its designated spot.The Jet Pack is strange to say the least. Instead of it being fixed to his body, it’s a separate piece that needs to be pushed into his body via three holes in his back. I can forgive this, except that the Jet Pack doesn’t fit in all the way, leaving it at a weird angle on his back. You can probably fit it in with enough pressure, but the pressure you’ll need will be so big that it feels like you’re about to break the figure. So that’s fun.The last problem is that moveable limbs. Moving the limbs isn’t smooth and simple, no. It’s like you’re breaking Boba’s bones to fit your maniacal needs. The parts that move his limbs are like a clock; it will move a little bit and then lock in place. Unfortunately, yet again, the amount of pressure needed is too high. Every movement feels like the furthest you can move it. The worst part is his legs. I had to check on the internet to see if his legs could be moved sideways, because I didn’t want to risk snapping his legs off and it didn’t feel like they could move when trying.Almost every part of this figure is a hassle, and chances are that when you finally get everything you want onto Boba, it won’t even stand on its own. You’ll have to lean it against a wall, buy something to keep it standing or put it into the weirdest posture imaginable so that it stands on its own. And it will not look good.If you’re going to buy this, keep it mint-in-box as a collector’s item. Don’t take it out it’s package. I would say that for almost every Black Series figure.
