Home Brew Pressure Barrel - 10 litres
D**G
Decent pressure barrel
Product is durable, seals seem to be strong enough to pressurise a high CO2 brew (lager or a sweet cider). Product is a little under 35 cm high and about 20-ish cm wide so fits easily in the fridge. Has a sturdy handle so can be carried easily. Cap has a central pressure relief valve (elastic band) in case the pressure gets too high, though I can't comment of whether it's effective. Price (£20-25) is average but I'm not complaining, a cheaper one I had ruptured.A quick word of advice - when using a barrel you probably don't need as much sugar as you would when priming straight to bottle. I used 7 g / litre for a lager and this was probably too much, now I'll use 5-6 g depending on temperature.

After initial problem , worked well
I had an initial problem that the tap was missing when delivered. After a little delay it was replaced.I have just used it for the first time and it functioned normally, held its pressure and didn't leak. So performed well.

Not fit for purpose!
Began leaking almost immediately. Cannot contain any sort of pressure whatsoever. Given how bad the leak is I'd say whatever you try and store in will be flat and off before you get to drink it. Completely and utterly useless.

Not a 10 litre barrell as advertised
Disappointed as its not a 10 litre barrel but standard 40 litre. I have found it out the hard way as my beer is only a quarter full on the container which leaves room for air. Will try and return.

Ideal for small space
