Moisturizer…. Love the coolness of it, feels very light and makes your skin feel great

Dr Brandt's Icy Gel Moisturizer promises to feel energizing and leave skin looking fresher. I expected an icy cool sensation on my skin but didn't feel anything at all no matter how many times I used it. On it's own, it doesn't really make my skin feel moisturized. It's designed to be used in a multi-step skincare program. When I incorporate it into my usual routine, I find that it does add a fresher appearance to my skin. Less dull, as promised. I'm confused why my tube of gel did not offer a cooling sensation that other reviewers online describe. I looked forward to that. It's still a nice product. I have been using certain other products from Dr Brandt, such as the exfoliant, for many years. This one left me stumped. 3 1/2 stars.

This product comes in a tube and a little goes a long way. It spreads easily and absorbs pretty quickly but I personally did not notice any cooling effect (unless you consider the first 15 seconds of application when its right out of tube). I would not recommend using during the day if you wear eye make-up, as it seem as though it would make it smear more easily. You do get a lot of the product considering only a little is needed for use. All-in-all, this is just an okay product for me but I wouldn't buy it again.

After it dries it doesn’t feel like it’s moisturize or hydrated anything. I do feel like my fave needs to be washed almost like it’s dry in some areas so this was not for me. My skins dry and I’m almost 40 for reference.

I have only used one tube of this product along with another serum and have noticed some improvement in my 65 year old skin. Not sure which product I can credit with the improvement (perhaps a combination) but I have ordered a second tube.

A unique and innovative concept for moisturizer feels cool and refreshing and wakes up your skin upon application, leaving you feeling refreshed throughout the day. It gets well absorbed without leaving any sticky residue. You can apply makeup after use without fear it will cake or leave creases. This will be great for use during summer months as it cools the skin instead of making it feel greasy after use like usual moisturizers. Comes in a pretty pastel colored tube which is well sealed.While using this moisturizer, I would recommend holding the tube upright, so you get only the desired quantity out of it for use.I enjoyed using this Gel moisturizer tremendously, as it leaves the skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

I applied this white gel after using my usual serum.It spreads easily offering great coverage.Be careful though, the tube is not completely full so the air trapped inside can cause it to burp while you are dispensing it. This puts a lot of moisturizer into your hand. I ended up using it on my face, neck, decolletage, hands and forearms.The moisturizer itself goes on cool and seems to do a good job moisturizing and protecting my skin. Not heavy, or sticky and it did not cause irritation.This will be a wonderful moisturizer for the upcoming summer months.

This gel comes in a handy tube for sanitary dispensing. No discernible scent. Lightweight, it spreads easily, and I apply it after my vitamin C morning serum. You know that wonderful sensation when you're feeling a little overheated or stressed and you splash cool water on your face? That's the impact I get from the Dr. Brandt ID-Stress Icy Energizing Gel.Where it loses a star: moisturizing. After the icy blast, which is invigorating and mildly energizing, my skin feels dry. The product is designed for all skin types, so those with oily skin may be fine without any additional product. Me, I need a moisturizer on top of this moisturizer lest my skin feel parched.Right now the weather is cool and rainy out. I expect this gel will be the perfect antidote to a hot summer day. I can't wait.
