Neck Nirvana
I have literally spent over a thousand dollars and suffered many nights of sleeplessness and pain trying out just about every single pillow out there on the market. I have debilitating arthritis and bone spurs in my neck, and had finally given up and started sleeping without a pillow out of desperation. It was not comfortable, but it was better than having my neck at an odd angle (which was the problem with every other pillow I had tried- including all of the medical grade and trendy cervical foam ones. I am a small woman and my neck is apparently shorter than average). I purchased the smallest Beans 72 and removed about a quart of the filling, which left the pillow relatively thin. The flexibility of the movable buckwheat hulls lets me lay flat on my back (as I did with no pillow) and allows me to find the sweet spot with just the perfect amount of support for my head and neck! I used mine for the first time last night, and awoke this morning for the first time in years with absolutely no neck pain. I also was able to adjust the height of the hulls, dig a little divot for my ear (the hulls are a bit pointy, but will smooth out with use) and sleep comfortably on my side (which always leaves me with a neck ache). This pillow sleeps cool and I love that it is so small and lightweight, as I travel often. It even has a handy carrying case! If you suffer from chronic neck pain, do not wait to try this one out… it truly is The Best Pillow EVER!!!

Ended my Neci Discomfort
I used to have next and shoulder pain following sleeping on a regular pillow. I ordered this one and although it is small (possibly best-suited for a child) it works perfectly for me. It is about half the size of a regular double (not queen or king) pillow. The kernals inside allow for shaping the pillow and placing in exactly where you want it to be. Sometimes when I want to lie on my side, I place it in the neck space area and position myself so even my face does not touch the pillow (want to avoid losing my face cream to the pillowcase) and it works well for me. I am greatly relieved from neck, shoulder and upper back tightness and pain. It also fits nicely in the small of the back when I am seated in certain large, stuffed chairs. Some may prefer a larger pillow.

Not getting perks for the review. Just my opinion.
I used to have a buckwheat pillow years ago and with several relocations it was lost. I had forgotten how much I loved that pillow and tried all of the pillows advertised on tv and many in the stores. I believe I went though so many pillows because I'd had a neck injury (ok now) and couldn't find anything that would support my head, while being easy on the neck. It was only recently that I thought to look into the buckwheat pillow again. The size I purchased then and the one I recently purchased was the Travel Size. I've always hated when the pillow would get warm, be too large, thick or cumbersome and I'd constantly be chasing a cool spot on the pillow. I remember hearing a lot of folks complain about the noise. I turn the pillow to another side maybe once a night instead of numerous times. The buckwheat tends to make it a cooler pillow that molds to the shape of your head and neck and reduces the number of times I wake up to change positions. You just move your head around (lightly) till it fits, however you lie on your mattress. I choose to use the travel pillow for just that reason. I'm not flipping the pillow through the night so I don't need a big pillow. Getting settled into the pillow makes a little noise however after a night or two I rarely noticed it because it was like white noise to me and I knew I'd sleep good. I get no perks for this review. It's just my honest opinion.

Finally found the perfect pillow...and I can travel with it!
I've had a buckwheat hull pillow before but this one was the perfect size and came with the perfect amount of hulls. This pillow is so perfect that it feels custom made. Be sure to get a zippered pillow cover for it. This pillow is also perfect for travel due to it's size. I will definitely be buying from the seller next time I need another pillow. I look forward to bedtime simply because I get to use this comfy pillow.

Haven’t slept on anything else for the last 20 years.
Been using this type of pillow for years and years-then I had neck surgery to repair previous damage and showed it to my surgeon and he was amazed and started showing all his patients this type of pillow. I, personally prefer the smaller, travel size.
