I bought this for a camping trip and was really happy to have it. It sits high enough off the ground that you don't feel like you are down there with all the bugs. There is an extra pad that lays on top of the cot and it stays put with the elastic straps. It's not the most comfortable rest of your life, but it's pretty good for camping. I tossed and turned quite a bit the first night and the cot didn't even really wiggle or make any noise. It also assembles and disassembles very quickly. I will say that it is not possible to fold the pad up in the cot and into the carrier bag. You will have to figure out storage for the pad - it comes vacuum sealed upon arrival. I didn't really mind carrying the pad because I carried my own pillow anyway. The pad is in its own storage space in the garage during times we are not camping.

Are you a fatty? I'm a 'husky fellow' which is FAT. This is OUR cot. Push the skinny people away from it, this is OURS. It's your freedom! It's light enough to move but it's heavy duty. i put a arm and knee on it and rolled right over onto it. It didn't snap like it was made of tinker toys like many things do under me. I rolled off of it like I rolled on to it. That should have destroyed it if it was unworthy.I am the perfect stress test as I'm big but for someone my size I'm disturbingly spry. This means it will have weight plus movement stress on it which compounds the stress test.Fat man tested, fat man approved.

Haven’t used but the photos from Amazon indicates that there is a tilt for the headrest… there is not. Lays fiat only ..

Tested this out as soon as it arrived. Very easy to setup. Unfolding literally less than 5 seconds. Then I took a 2 hour nap that felt like 8 hours. I slept very comfortably on this. Folding is super easy as well. Takes no longer than 5 seconds.Sturdy design and very well built.

If sleeping on longer periods than 3 days could use additional cushioning for overall comfort. I used it a temporary bed while moving into new home

Like I said, the cot is good BUT, when you try and put the cot and mattress in the carry bag it will not fit. I tried to compress the cot and mattress as much as possible while my girlfriend tried to put the bag on the cot, the only thing we managed to do is rip the bag a little. We tried taking the mattress off and putting them in individually, but again no luck. I don't understand why they give you an exact size bag for half of the cot.

Very comfortable & strong for a heavier person.
