Excellent value. I have made multiple purchases of this flatware over the years. All the pieces including the serving pieces have been identical in quality and appearance. They handle the dishwasher extremely well and come out looking brand new. Expensive quality and look at a great price.

I first saw these Fortessa Lucca's at a restaurant in Paso Robles. Both my wife and I liked it right away and started to find out where we can purchase them. Noticed that Sur La Table carried this brand, but did not have this style available. So I went straight to Amazon and found them at a discounted rate.They are beautiful to say the least. I like the weight on them and they definitely feel and look premium. I've read from others that they started to notice that the paint wears off. I can't attest to that as we have not used them yet. But from the looks and all, they are very upscale looking flatwares.

I love this set. They look great and have a comfortable weight. My one complaint is that the spoon and fork handles are a bit more narrow than the knives and can slide through standard dishwasher silverware baskets. I have ended up laying them flat in an upper rack. Arguably this is a fault of the dishwasher basket, but it would be nice if they were al like the knives, which do not fall through.Some comment about the spoons being too deep or hard to eat with, and the shape is different from your typical spoon, but I do not find this off putting or an issue.
