Acme 210.5 Dog Whistle & Lanyard with Cobra Stitch Knot 3mm in Rainbow

Just got a 9 month old Patterdale terrier rescued from a bad home (she had been under veterinary care for the previous two months). Ideal for training recall with lots of treats and to save me from shouting out loud, especially if my voice doesn't carry in windy conditions, she is very responsive. Haven't let her completely off the leash yet when we're out walking in the woods because I don't want to lose her down a rabbit or fox hole, I have another dog, 12 year old Springer x Border Collie (also rescued at, 7 years old), I attach the two together with a 30 foot tie out line and then I know she won't go too far, but still has some freedom and both dogs come back to me when I whistle.

The whistle is excellent giving a good level of sound over some distance which means my gun dogs have no excuse - shame no one has told them. the Lanyard is just great as I always put them down and loose them but with these bright colours there is no chance of this.

Brilliant for recall with puppy of 5 month!! Practiced in garden first and she was away with it. Used treats and still do if she comes back. Great buy

I was disappointed with this item as it really did not come up to my expectations with the noise or should I say lack of it from this whistle.The lanyard is great.However, I have given it 3 stars due to the fact that after contacting the seller they did offer to replace the whistle if I sent it back to them.

Does what it says, very pretty in the multi colour, dog responds to whistle instantly
