I was looking for a Yeti alternative, but I now wished that I would have sprung for the extra hundred bucks for one. This cooler is nice, but it doesn't seem to hold ice any better than my economy coolers. If you're spending that much on a cooler in the first place, might as well go all out! As for the positive aspects--I do like the latch system, and the latches have built-in bottle openers. I also really like the handle...it folds down out of the way when not in use, and it locks into saddles when in use. The mini soft cooler was a nice bonus, and I have actually used that more than the main cooler. It's handy and it dries out in no time flat after you empty it out.

I didn't realize how heave the cooler is. I cannot pick it up when filled. It also will only keep ice for one day. I do like the smaller travel cooler. It's great for keeping drinks cold on a day trip INSIDE your air conditioned car.

Finally a high quality, reasonably priced cooler set that meets my needs for big and small outings. The 25 quart molded cooler is perfect for picnics, cookouts, beach days, or camping. My pic shows how easily 8 individual beverages will fit; this ice chest can fit at least 4 or 5 times that many along with ice and any food you need to keep cold. The built-in bottle openers on the straps are a life saver (I always forget to bring a bottle opener), and the cushioned locking handle is comfortable for carrying. The cup holder fit bottles and cans easily, and the vented drain makes for quick and easy removal of any melted water.The soft side cooler bag is perfect to use as a premium lunch bag, and I can't wait to use it to keep my drinks cold on hot days at the ballpark. It fits about 8 or 10 individual drinks, plus ice. I love the fact that leak proof tight closure and zipper will keep from having ice cold water pour down my back when putting the strap over my head. Just like the larger cooler, the cushioned handle on the bag makes for comfortable carrying.I'm looking forward to using these year round for a long time!

Soft side cooler. My limited tests showed it will keep ice for 12-14 hours but there won’t be much left. It fits my needs for a day cooler at a fraction of the cost. Waterproof zipper is great.The hard cooler handled icecream on a 12 hour drive with 1# of dry ice. Everything was solid when we got home. I’ll update when Ive used it as a drick cooler

Here are some orange things for comparison. The photo in the ad looked closer to the color of the globe, or the dog toy. But it is actually kind of hunter orange or even flourescent and has some reddish spots embedded in the plastic. Also it is really heavy for such a small cooler. I'm returning it.
