This chair/hiking pole with the funny name has been a game changer for us. It is very light and doubles as a chair and sturdy cane. We've owned it for several months. The mechanism works perfectly, easy to set up and fold. It is sturdy as a cane, maybe a bit short as a hiking stick, but surprisingly comfortable as a temporary resting chair. However, the photo on the site shows the chair backwards. The "front" of the chair is the handle of the cane. The pole goes between your legs. Makes a nice book/map rest. If you sit on it with the pole sticking out the "back" the chair is not stable. Pay the extra for the aircraft quality aluminum.

I just returned from a trip to the Mediterranean and took this little cane seat with me. What a life saver! I used it at the airportsas well as on ship and excursions. Light, stable, and very easy to use. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Every where I used it people came over to ask me about it and several actually looked it up on Amazon while they were with me. I would highly recommend this seat with no reservations!!!!!

Purchased this for a concert and it was a godsend! I have an autoimmune condition that negatively impacts my energy/stamina, so standing in a line for hours before walking into an event, walking more, and then standing/dancing was just too much. Getting a cane with a seat was an awesome suggestion by my chiropractor, and this my favorite of the ones I tested out. It wasn't as comfortable as the other style this brand makes, but the automatic chair release and size of the cane feet were more important to me than comfort. It is a sturdy cane that is also lightweight. For the concert, once the line stopped moving, I would just release the chair part of the cane and sit to rest. I also used it when I got tired inside the venue, it was easy to use and didn't take up much space. Such a great invention!
