Just make sure you check the dimensions to ensure it’s big enough for your slice of bread. Works great, no complaints.

Evenly browned toast. Nice
This makes great toast on a typical camp stove. I have a single burner Coleman stove. The type that puts out a flame in a 3 inch circle. It makes nicely browned toast quickly. But it doesn't work well if you have the Jetboil type burner The one with a single flame mounted on top of a butane cylinder. I tried it on mine but it just put brown spots on the bread. I guess the flame diffuser on this can only do so much to spread the flame out. This packs up nice and thin too. The legs fold down.

Tried a few - this one’s best!
My usage is on a van RV gas camp stove. I set this right on the burner and watch it closely, which you have to do to keep from burning. Toasts perfectly, across a normal slice of bread, without burn spots or different toast levels. Works way better than the stand-up ones which toast the low side best and stink at the top. This doesn’t have that issue. Folds small, easy to clean and store, great value.

Bad odor
Had bad odor and it still smells even i washed returned.

Love this toaster
I am happy to have this in my RV. It toasted two pieces of bread easily while I was making my eggs .. no electricity needed.
