This is a decent brush. I don’t know if I’ve ever tried a duo-fiber brush, but I haven’t really noticed a difference if there’s supposed to be. At $9.99 for a single brush, it is on the more expensive side. But it’s a good brush. I used it to apply my blush and it did what it’s supposed to. I’m giving it 4 stars because I did have some bristles shed, so I’m going to be cautious when I clean it so I don’t lose more. All in all, it’s a decent brush. I would recommend, but there’s always cheaper options that are just as good as this.

The bristles are thick and they are all attached well in the ferrule, I couldn’t pull any out and it didn’t leave hairs behind while in use. This is a large domed brush with tapered bristles...it is medium soft..certainly not the softest brush I’ve ever used. It is best suited for finishing powder and bronzers. It has a solid feeling in the hand and is well balanced and comfortable to hold. I have not experience any loss of bristles when I washed it or when applying powders. Good basic brush.
